a while back, I noticed that a few of the b grade recipes seem to be missing, namely Ice Storm Hammer 100% and Star Buster 60% and 100%. I posted a bug report, and eventually I was told that those recipes do in fact exist and that they have indeed dropped, just rarely.
ok, out of curiosity, I'm asking here. if those recipes have dropped, someone has to have seen one. so, if you've seen it, speak up. I'm curious to know where they come from, and I know a couple of people are dying for those recipes.
yup, both those cases were the 60% rec, which wasn't the one I mentioned. Ice Storm Hammer rec is missing the 100%. Star Buster seems to be missing both (and as yet the Pavel ruins quest only seems ot be pulling low B weapon recs).
And the reason less and less 100% recs are showing up is that NCSoft has decided that most recipes should drop at about 1/20000 from 1 or (if you are lucky) 2 mobs. note I said drop, most B weapon recipes are not spoilable. it is a sad state of affairs when you can go to Erica and buy most A weapon recipes for 5kk to 10kk, yet any B weapon recipe shows up, it will cost about 25kk. I think this should be a fairly non-subtle hint that something is broken, but that is just me.
you are lucky to have gotten that much information from the GMs. last time i asked them if something existed in game i got the response "sorry we cant share that kind of information, ty for playing".
that is because I refused to shut up and got referred to a higher up. he did not tell me what dropped them, he just told me that they have dropped. frankly, I wasn't looking for what dropped them, I just wanted confirmation that they were indeed dropping. and that was pretty much all he said: yup, they are dropping, just rarely.
figured if they did drop, someone should know, so I posted here to try to find and spread the info.
I figure no one posts here within a few weeks I'll go back and ask "are you sure?"
