Warrior Question

I have a 21lvl warrior(going to be gladiator) and i wonder which would be the best equipment heavy/light armor/duals/blunt/sword etc. Anyone willing to give advice?
mainstream is to get duals and heavy. But i suggest you also try mixing it up because you have other masteries that can be very beneficial to you espiecally in pvp. Hope that helps
up to lvl 40 you can use a sword/blunt and a shield. After 40 your dual masteries will start to give more damage for you. Heavy armor is the best for your armor. Full Plate if you can get it.
Do not use duals pre-40. Use a claymore. :)
found it to be decent exp in brig with a polearm gathering up groups of mobs and poleing em down, works very well on warriors due to masteries etc
I got a spare brig set u can have if ure on kain :)
I have a level 32 Warrrior and I have blown through levels 20-32 with Brig and +3 107's (duals). I level very, very fast at Orc Barracks and am wondering where to go once they turn light blue.

I have thought about grabbing a bonebreaker or a glaive but I love the duals. I can't wait to get to 40 and get those masteries.
Duals pre lvl 40 are a waste. You dont get any active skills you can use other then the toggles. Id say get a two handed sword (two handed blunt if you want to use stun also) since these are more SS efficient and you have skills and masteries for it.
I am gaining a level every 2 hours of play with duals, I can't imagne how another weapon would make me level any faster? Maybe once I leave OB (3x mobs) then I will slow down significantly....who knows.

Why a 2-handed sword or blunt instead of a 1-handed with brig shield to get the bonus??
duals are never a good choice unless you have masteries for them. go with a two-handed sword. you will do more damage, and use less shots.
Poles and catas... Really hard to beat if you find rooms... Of course I used this with my dwarf but I usually made a LOT of D crystal everyday =) So much fun in the catas hehe
Top D grade two-handed blunt (I believe they added those in C5) or sword has more p.atk than top D duals
You have Sword/Blunt masteries, which don't work with duals, but do work with two-handed swords/blunts.
Two-Handed weapons are generally slower than duals = less soulshots used per hour.
all that added up equals that two-handed weapon is better in *every* aspect than duals for a human warrior (another matter for a gladiator)

Do not use duals pre-40. Use a claymore. :)

I 2nd that.

But if you can't afford a top D weapon, then use whatever you can get your paws on. It's D grade -- it goes by quickly no matter what weapon you use.

(I used a Cursed Maingauche and later a Mith Dagger for one of my Palus Knight re-rolls way back when. Whatever works for you.)
At 39 at the last quest to become gladiator, you have to kill a lot of mobs in order to pass it,some of which are in the cruma tower.I believe that this is almost impossible to do that solo since all mobs in cruma are social and get aggresive if they get hit....any suggestions?

You will have to get help on that part of the quest. Just go into Dion and start asking people to help. You will get someone nice to give you a hand.

It definitely will benefit you to get help in Dion (like suggested). It is possible to do alone if you are extremely careful and patient. I did the BD quest there a little while back alone (but with full buffs) and it wasn't too bad since I wasn't in a hurry.

But yeah, ask for some help (post on your server forum here). It's definitely more rewarding with others.

Yes, Claymore is the best choice pre-40
Though I reccomend a Bonebreaker if you plan to fight in the Catacombs or Necros. many of the mobs there are weak to blunt.
I picked up a Claymore last night and I am convinced it is better than the duals. I went from 32.3 to 33.6 in 90 minutes.

Once I got the hang of over-hitting with power smash I was able to do it just about every time and maximize the exp.
Be creful with Over-hits. They do increase theep you get, but they do NOT increase the SP. and getting to a higher level faster means getting there with few SP...that makes a huge difference in later levels.
You still earn SP at the same rate though, so it's really no big deal. Most classes can skimp on many skills anyway - I mean, I'm learning new windshackle and sleep most of the time although it's really not necessary. ^^:
Well, i have a bonebreaker and i exp really fast!about 4lvls a day and at this rate i will be able to start the 2nd ccq in about 3 days and i wondered if i should start directly at 35 or wait till 40 so i can wear my fp set.any suggestion accepted:)
I have always waited to do the class change until i could wear/use the next grade. It makes it easier and more fun to do the quests. Most of the time you can start at 39 and by the time you are at the end you will be 40. So, I would start the quests at about 39and 50%. When you get to the hard part of the last quest you will be 40 :-)
yea. befor I always did the quest once I was 40. my last classchange I started at lvl39, and finished it at lvl40 and 5%. sure its a bit harder doing it in Dgrade, but I liked it.
Oh yes,i forgot...i have raid*raid duals for 40,should i use them or wait till ccq is finished?
dont use them untill you are lvl40.
:) sure i won't use them untill 40,i asked that in case i'm 40 and still haven't finished the ccq if i should use the duals or carry on with the bonebreaker in order to finish it.(Portas and some others are valnurable to blunts)
equip the duals. no mather what, if they are weak to blunts or not, the increas in p.attack from D to C grade is kinda huge, so go ahead and use your duals :)
Thanks for the advice :)
92 p.attack vs 190 p.attack :)
good luck and have fun with the class change :>

You can also wait until you're 40 to complete that quest. You won't have any masteries or class skills, but you will have your Grade Expertise. Going to Cruma with C grade gear and armor and weapon SA's is much better than doing it solo in D grade gear. (And yes, I've made the typical assumption that you've already set aside your C grade gear. Apologies if that is not the case.)

Either way, you'll have to be patient with those Cruma mobs. Good luck and don't die too much :)
