Death Pen

Ya I'm new
got death penalty with first character. Is there anyway to remove or does it last forever?
also
How do you take screen shots and where are they stored?
and lastly
is there anyway to change a characters name?

By the scrolls you buy at any grossesy store ingame.

As for screen shots, click Print Screen, and they are stored in L2's system folder.

And lastly, as most want to take pics with the gui hided you can hide it with ALT + H, and click the same buttons again to get the gui back.

At this time NC does not offer any way to change a player characters name. If you don't like the name you gave your character then you will have to create a new one.

and yes, if you don't remove it with a recovery scroll, the death penalty will stay there forever. Worse, the penalties are stackable, the more you get the worse it is.

Recovery scrolls are purchased from the store in town.

I like the warehouse feature in this game
you dont have to start a new one from scatch.

Also, if you created the first character since the last patch, you should have two Scrolls of Recovery (no grade) in your inventory.

is there anyway to transfer cash from one player to another?

I tried putting in warehouse but couldnt cause I had to pay for service. Need to split cash up some how.

If you don't have 2 accounts or someone that you really really trust, the only thing you can do is use the warehouse freight service. It does cost though, 1000 adean per transfer. The nice thing is, you can pick up the freight box in any warehouse anywhere. So, for instance, if you freight something from your toon in Talking Island, you can pick it up on your DE in the warehouse in DE village.

You need to use the frieght service to transfer items/cash between ure toons. Costs 1000a per item and is collectable in any town, so u wont need to go to the town u deposited it in to collect it.

i get what your saying here.
you can't put all your adena in cuz of the cost :p you have to put some adena back into your inventory

so if you frieght all (and only) your adena to another character, you have to put 1k back into inventory.

and yeah, the death penalty sucks but whatever

look at the bright side - with penalty now we don't drop anything so ppl stop training you to get your gear :eek:
