I want to know what the significance of spoil would be to artisans. Can I still spoil?
I am guessing since bounty hunters get further lvls my sad lvl1 spoil will have reduced probibility. Can I spoil and successfully sweep blue mobs?
would that have better prob.
Thankyou.
lvl 1 spoil still works on green/white but v rare. Aint tried on blue, but cant imagine its any better. If anything blue is prolly worse as reduced drop rate, would imagine spoil is same.
Spoil will still land, even at high levels. But very rarely and when it does your not likely to get anything worthwhile. That being said I did spoil an Avadon Circlet recipe once with my WS when he was mid 50's. And just the other day I spoiled a buffalo up at the beast farm, all I got was metallic thread I think. Leave the spoiling to the BH's they are way better at it. If you want to help them save MP for spoils you can sweep though.
ty. I'm annoyed since I missed out on braided hemp. Its a really simple recipie but it seems key in a number of more complex recipies.
Buying it seems a shame since I had the chance to get it free.
i have like 8 of them tell me what server you're on. metallic thread is a hard one. i may even have an extra set of the lvl 1 recipies if you are on devainne.
I keep a dwarven fighter at lvl 11 just for all the level 1 mat recipes. Every so often I meet a new dwarf that missed one of them and i can usually get the entire set in a max 2 hours of spoiling.

What do you need? I have so many spares i'm just throwing them away.....
Okay, there are 2 different probabilities involved in spoil:
1. When you use the skill, there is a chance that you succeed (you get a system message "the spoil condition has been activated")
The chance here depends on (mob level - level that you could learn that particular spoil skill)
For a bounty hunter spoiling near their own level this is almost 100%. For someone using level 1 spoil with a learn level of 7, this will be very low.
2. If you successfully spoiled the monster, it has a chance to give items or not.
The chance here is affected only by (monster level - spoiler level) and is the same as drops -- dark blue will have lower spoil rates exactly as they have lower drop rates.
So on your questions -- spoiling with a warsmith runs into problem 1 a lot -- you can't actually stick the skill itself. If the skill DID stick, the item rate would be the same as a bounty hunter.
Spoiling dark blue runs into problem 2 a lot -- you stick the skill but have a reduced chance for items.
