These are top D duals, should I crystalise them and make SSDs' or just sell them?
What makes best profit. My head hurts with all my calculating and web searching.
I intend to get one-handed sword instead.... Don't argue :D
I'm surprised, on Kain OE'd duals go for a lot and fast.
Same deal on Lionna.. have a friend that OEs them for profit.. He got +9 for sale or trade for clean kris BTW if anyones interested. Price is/was around 40-45m i believe. PM Bodil or Adhira ingame for info :)
a pair of top duals convert to 3018 d crystals.
d crystals cost around 680 a on lionna pr crystal in sellshops. That means that if you just crush it you will get crystals that will get you 680*3018 = 2052240 adena for your troubles if you sell the crystals for average selling price.
Normally the duals sell for 2,1-2,5kk on your server, so you will "loose" between 50k and 450k adena.. if you just sell the crystals.
If you make them into ssd and sell them for 14 adena, which is the current selling price on lionna the calculations are like this:
3018 crystals
soulore 295a (im not sure about price, but on my server giran is the cheapest, at a price of 292 - 295 depending on tax )
Crystal price = 0a ( more on this later )
Selling price = 14a
Ssd needs 3 soulore and 1 crystal to make a 156 ssd. That means you will need 9054 soulore. This will give you an estimated total expense of 1 pair of duals + 2.670.930a for soulore. The duals sell for 2.1 - 2.5 so rougly you will "pay" 4970930 for all those shots you will create. (2670930+2300000)
The 3018 crystals will give you ( 3018 * 156 ) 470808 ssd shots. If you sell them for 14 a pr shot you will gain 6591312 adena. The profit you will gain is (6591312 - 4970930) = 1620382 adena

OEd duels arent worth much because the crystal reimbursment, unlike Top D weapons upgraded from mammon. All that is at risk is the price BS charges to combine the swords in lowest tax town and the enchant scrolls.

Why would anyone pay 10 mil for a D grade weapon? You can safely make a +3 weapon for less than 3 mill adena. Then you are going to spend 2-3 weeks at most getting the toon to level 40. It may even take just a few days. So why spend all that extra money, when it wont speed up the process as much as having a 60+ healer/buffer following you around.
I am not saying you can't sell it for 10 mill, there are always idiots out there, you may find one.
