The othere day i went to Devils Island to check if Zaken was up. I waited next to the dead orc for the gate to open and the min that it hit 12am in game time i critted out. I logged back into game and was in giran. So here are my questions....It is my understanding that when entering Zakens lair there is a chance that part of the group will be ported to town? Something was also said there was a major crit error problem on the ship in c3 so has it been fixed? Finally, I have critted at the port site of antharas before a raid before but when i logged in i was still at the port site ported in no problems. I know there is a no relog inside the lairs of epic bosses so is Zakens whole ship considered his lair? Thank for all your help in advance. Just wnat to figure it all out before i try it again.
This is a really annoing problem and happens to alot of people. And pretty much everything from when you jump down the cliff is "boss-area" so if you dc its back to Giran :/
That really sucks. I mean it isnt liek i have have problems getting there but to have to time my jumping off the cliff at 12 to avoid crit really sucks. Oh yea and I have read the gate is only open for 2 mins? I have never done zaken so i dont know much about him but that cant be true if you have to kill him after 6am game time.

I can tell you that it is absolutely true! That gate stays open for 2 minutes exactly. In game time....it opens at 1200am and closes at 1212am. I've been there several times for the same reason as you were and did not crit. Whereas some people with me did. I have been told that the best thing to do is stay on the bridge looking away from his ship and at midnight game time, run to the gate and get in the hall. take the mobs with you and kill them in the hall.
Yes, you then have to stand there in the hall with all the people that you were able to stuff in the hallway, until 6am game time. Then you can got get him and good luck. Don't go beyond the end of the downward ramp of the hallway or you will aggro him, and that will be it. Between 12am and 6 am. he is completely invincible.
Wow... i cant believe it.. 2 min.. thats nuts but i guess it makes it even better later. So whats the best advice on just checking spawn? Take a group with EE and run to him see him and pr? Solo and hopefully dolls on the ship dont agro and run see him bsoe? Or get my peopel together and go all for it and if he is up he is up if not try again a few days later? Sorry for all the questions but does anyone know his spawn rate? Thanks for all the help you guys rock.
