could some one tell me at what Evla score
does your name start to change to Blue.
Pretty high, I don't remember exactly but it's close to 100
It starts to turn blue at 1. But I guess it depends what shade of blue your looking for since theres 255 possibilities (1-255).

Unfortunetly, most people cant see the difference between adjacent shades of color, so your perception of when your name starts to turn "blue" will be different from someone elses.
55 is the average viewable shade of blue
and how does it actualy work? :)

if i get a reccomendation my eval score incerases.
but after a relog (or server restart?) my score is 0 again.
so how can i have eval score e.g. 55+?

You lose 3 recs a day at 40+, so if you party a lot, your score will go up in no time.
If you are at 55 one day and at 0 at Day+1, then something is very wrong.
Normally your score doesn't fall from 55 to 0 over one day. It only decreases 3 rec points per 24 hours passed.

If you did go from 55 to 0 then something is indeed wrong

by this do you mean that when you hit 255 score it will get no darker?
or are you trying to say there are only 255 shades that are passable as blue?
On electronic displays, 255 shades of Red * 255 shades of Green * 255 shades of Blue = 16,581,375 possible color combinations + 1 for the total absence of all the primary colors (black), and + 5 I believe for the absence of one or two of any colors at a time (unless my maf is wrong and those are included in the original 16m+).

So yes, a score of 255 = maximum amount of pure blue for your name. This is reached by subtracting 1 shade of Green and Red for each evaluation point, since White on a computer display is composed of all three colors at thier maximum value (255-255-255). This of course applies to electronic displays like those used on your computer. In the real world, there are too many "shades" to even count.
Whats the benifit of having 255 rec's? Apart from a blue name...

Nothing besides you have a blue name. It was implemented back then as a system to recommend players towards their actions. But it adds no benefit to your game play except that you are either popular, or as stated before, have lots of bored friends.

Normally if you are often in a group and people have appreciated your efforts towards the group, you'll likely to get a rec point from them. It's basically to show appreciation of the person.
I've seen names start to turn blue around 80 (it's extremely faint).

Before first job change, you lose 1 rec per day.
After first job change and before second job change you lose 2 recs per day.
After second job change you lose 3 recs per day.

After level 10 and before first job change, you may give 3 recs per day.
After first job change and before second job change, you may give 6 recs per day.
After second job change you may give 9 recs per day.

It's just 256 * 256 * 256 for 24 bit color, because there's 256 possible values (0-255) for each color; also 2^24. So 16,777,216.
Isnt a value of 0 considered the absence of the color, and hence no "shade" of it?

I kinda though it was 0-255 and not 1-255 though. Never really got that much into colors, other then playing around with the value in PSP to look at the pretty rainbows.
