Soo i'm looking for a SOD (damascus) for my DA because i am currently using a DMG w/ health but i find myself soloing a lot so i really need more damage output. Just wondering if i should go haste or focus on my damscus. Like whats so great about each. i hear almost everyone say focus, but there is also good argument for haste. Thanks for the help. :)
Whole thing might need re-evaluating as of Interlude though - crit damage is apparently down noticably when buffed. If it's enough to push haste SAs up to 'viable' status again... who knows?
I've had Hast and Focus on weapons for my Orc Destroyer. Haste seemed to help me level faster. But, the Focus still helped me level faster, and it does help a lot in saving SS.
Hmm i got haste sa on my Aoba for my Paladin. For me it adds up. I rarely use ss because i use wolf instead.
With the herbs i often get more attackspeed and the SA stacks with it.
In the best cases with buffs haste 2 bezerk and angelic icon i get like 670-700 attackspeed i bet when i also get that ancient warrior buff it get up even more.
But sure focus should be better if you use a sword.
I use blunt because i face a lot undead skeleton types so the blunt adds up there too.
Beside the fact i already had it from my BH ;)

That's different. Your class utterly relies on attack speed.... as it has a [censored] crit rate. Focus > Haste on all non orc melee classes... and Crit Damage > all on dagger classes.
yea i like critt damage on daggers. not that it adds that much, but the base p.attack of the weapons a lot higher then focus weps :(
That's not why crit damage is good for daggers. Even if they had lower stats than focus weapons... crit damage would be better because that damage is added on to stabs.
