L2 client download

hmm, just got me a new computer, and I cant find the **** L2 discs >.<
all links to download the L2 client from this place goes to fileplanet, and I can only find c5 there...
does anyone know any fast download site for the client? dont need the chronicles, cus ill just drag and drop from my other computer once its installed.

Why don't you just copy the games L2 folder on the other computer and just drag it onto your new one.....

Yeah.... it will.

The game won't be listed in your Add/Remove program listings thou....But i've installed the game in that way alot of times.

Just make sure to run the games updater so it can do a file check, and write to the registry.

www.lineage2.com (http://www.lineage2.com) has no good links for download. all of them rrefer to fileplanet, and at fileplanet you cant download unless you subsribe and pay 7$ or whatever it it... stupid if you ask me...

Their is free membership... But they hide it.... :)

You have to sign in in order to get to downloads anyway. If it offers you to download as paid membership, scroll down, there are also servers listed that require just standard free membership.

Anyway, transferring client is easy, it does full check and registers to registry DB, but try to delete the folder afterwards ... msxlml won't let you, because it's registered to the system and loaded. You have to crawl the registry, and remove like 20 registry keys in order to delete 3 stupid files from lineage II/system folder :(
(Knowing this I would make registry diff files next time I run L2 somewhere ... or is it just my computer that does this?)

FilePlanet does require registration, but it is free to download Lineage II.

anyways, I just copyed the game from my other computer and after a file-check it worked just fine.

hmm...the game was running well untill I restarted lineage. then it made a small update, and gave me an error message containing, umm, nothing....
so, now I cant run it anylonger, it wants to do a complete filecheck/download... o.O
after 16 hours of filecheck/download its still faar from finished...so I guess its downloading the whole game... I just have abad feeling it still wont run when its done... :'(
any ideas?

Thats odd.

Let the game do it's updates....if it ends up being a few days, just stop it. And get C5 from fileplanet or something.

Good mirror site, topping 5 MB/s from that mirror, and yeah you need to register an free accont as well but the server is fast, at least for me.

hmm ok. im at work and if it hasent finished when I get home ill download it from that site :/
I have a fast connection so I dont see why it should take this long to download from NCsoft. its not like everyone is downloading a lot of stuff atm >.<
