hmm, I heard so much good of manoring, so I was trying it myself the other day.. but, grinding in branded (im not gonna move untill 52, then go to apostate) dident realy give me any good rewards of manoring, or maybe I just dont know what is good or bad. the two types of reward I could find where varnish and metalic thread. none of them are that much wanted on the market, not like enria, molds, bones, sop. I know, its higher lvl mats, except bones ofc, but, is it still possible to earn a good amount of money with it? as long as I can play in a cata/necro I can move around.
im not much into prices on bartz, only on the most wanted stuff like bones and SoP, cbr and all that stuff. I guess varnish is about, um...500-800, but I can be wrong.
if you combine quests with manor, you can get SOP and varnish at the same time. course, i have cbp comming out my ears (from seeding bots in necros) so these are the things i really need. metallic thread is great for manoring because the recipie is so rare. varnish is great for manor because you can just about always set up a sell shop for 1k each, since c3. impossible to lose money seeding for varnish.
Varnish are always popular, and the Catas are like the best place to seed, no matter what seed you have.
you get like 4-6 crops per seed or something which saves you money :p
seeding for mold hardener atm. I tryed to understand the turn-in-reward but im not realy sure. 1000 crops = 12 mold hardener? or am I totaly wrong? if so, its a very bad way to make money >.< anyway, was just trying things out. tomorrow ill go for varnish :)

12 or 1200 depends on what the castle dudes want to give you
basically
you have 100 fruit
castle pays 1k per fruit
you have 100,000 worth of fruit
1 stem is worth 100a
you earn 1000 stem

hmm..kk...not realy how i thougth about it...but it gives me hope.. cuz i remember 2 prices...1250 and 300...maybe it means 4 fruits, 1 mold... then...uhh...I will have a LOT of molds... o.O
ill have to check it once I get home...
ahh ok. then I where right. should be about 12 molds for 1000 fruits... ohh god is that worthless...
btw what price is buyback price? im 99% sure no such price exist at the manor lord. is it called something else?
Worthless? Considering your *only* other option for aquiring Mold Hardners is a 50+ BH (~1% spoil mind you) OR a 70ish BH for ~5%+, being able to trade in ~20-50 Fruit for a Hardner is downright awesome.
Buyback is just the term most manor people use to refer to how much adena the manor is offering you for your fruit BTW. (I forget exactly what word the manor screen uses.)
There are only two fruits that can return Mold Hardners. Chilly Codran (L52 seed) and Gold Coba (L73 seed). Both are Type 2 rewards.
....12 MH per 1K fruit? WTH server are you on that the buyback for those fruits is so low?! (12 * 23K = 276K / 1K = 276a buyback?)
There are 5 possible manors for the Codrans and 6 for the Coba. And the coba better be more than 276a!
Even if your only able to do the Codrans, the buyback on those should be closer to 500a! (500a * 1000 = 500k / 23k = ~21 MH)
