The Santa Claus guild trainees are back! The guild has dispatched young apprentices all over Aden to spread holiday cheer and offer blessings and gifts wherever they go.
During this event, monsters will drop an assortment of special items to make the season bright, including unique Echo Crystals that play holiday carols.

The monsters roaming Aden and Elmore are also carrying tree branches and ornaments that can be given to the Santa Trainee to create your own small Christmas tree.
To make your small Christmas tree, you will need 4 Star Ornaments, 4 Bead Ornaments, 10 Fir Tree Branches, and 1 Flower Pot.
Give the Santa Trainee 10 small Christmas trees and he will give you a special Christmas tree, which has a magical effect of increasing health and magic regeneration while under its branches. Special Christmas trees can be summoned anywhere, but you will not receive the magical effects of the tree if it is summoned inside peace zones.
Santa’s Hat
This small guild of the Dwarven Village is led by a mysterious, yet jolly, Dwarf known only as Santa Claus. The apprentices managed to bring along a stock of Santa’s Hats with them to the villages. However, they won’t give up these hats easily! Collect 10 small Christmas trees and the Trainee will exchange them for a bright red Santa’s Hat. This hat can only be worn until January 30.
Holiday Blessings
The Santa Trainees in the starting villages also give holiday blessings. These buffs will help you in your hunt for both monsters and presents.

We currently don't plan on changing the hat to be worn year-round; the design team feels strongly about the hat only being worn at this time of year. I believe the hat is only wearable during the holiday event, but I'll try to get confirmation on that. We'll let everyone know when the hat is no longer equippable.

please DO remove them if we cannot wear them as our warehouses are already overflowing and most of us cannot afford to waste space with an unusable, unwearable, unsellable item. granted if you dont we will jsut destroy it.

I'd like to have seen something that would add to the holiday, but sense your running this event through the new year you should of at lest added elven fire works (or did you forget that the Chinese and other Asians use fireworks to celebrate the new year).
Not only that, but just not granting us something of better usefulness is just sad. This event you had going on this week was very limited for players. not once while I or many other players were on did they find any event mobs.

It's definitely a decision of what you will enjoy more -- Santa's Hat or the tree. We want to give everyone fair warning that the hats aren't easy to get, and that they're only wearable for a short while, so that you can make the right choice. We hope you still enjoy the event!

yeah cause I was saving all my tree stuff, and a ton of other peoples stuff they dropped on the ground at a waste of my; time, invatory space, WH space, and my adena to store it to my WH. but you guys decided to delete it. those now you aren't going to reimburse us...how sad!

I waited until right before the date they said the trees would be deleted and planted dozens of them in Giran. Someone even made a post about all of the "SirElrohir trees" there.

Now that I know that the hat won't be equipable all year around, I'm less opposed to them.
And I'm sure you'll be able to put them in wh, just like the castle circlets that you can't wear when you lose a castle.
I hope this year you won't delete my christmas trees from the warehouse.
I understand making event items limited-time, but for those who like to collect every item they can, it's a sad day when you take my toys away :( I'd rather they be disabled but still exist.

By the way it's a great decision to make them wearable only during this event, these are Christmas hats, not Thanksgiving Hats, or 4th of July Hats, they're supposed to be worn only during Christmas season, come on people, a little tradition doesnt hurt for once !

Seems kinda pointless to me to even be able to get the hats if they just go away after xmas time.. makes little sense to me because the horns and mask they had around Halloween time have stuck around but the santa hats are not? i guess im just disappointed because i wanted to keep the santa hat and wear it around all the time, but still makes no sense to me.
I guess it kinda makes sense that they don't want something as specific as Santa's hats all year round. (as opposed to the halloween gear, which basically fits all year round)

The Event takes up so many inventory slots so why oh why do we need different crystals that play the same tune ie 3 Jingle Bells, why fill up 10 slots when there's only 5 rewards ( not counting those to make a tree)

If the hat is not equipable after the holidays why are we allowed to wear the crapy halloween mask (crapy cuz all the server has it....kinda freaky) and the horns from last event?

Got about 20 times more pots then I get Star Ornaments, I got like 15 pots over right now and 0 star ornaments... really bad rate on them, and yeah most my friends is missing star ornaments to.

Then hunt in Cruma Marshlands, the pots (and everything else) drop really decently, trust me, i got my Hat in a few hours of hunting Stakatos, Giant Crimson Ants, Mist Horror Reapers, ...

20minutes, and they are 1-time use only so you can't unsummon them

I think the limited hat time is a joke. I am just angry though, and it's my fault. I am the dumb %$# that sold most of my HG Sp Scrolls that i was saving for my clan to get to lvl 5. I sold them to buy hats, for a friend that i promised to help get 5 hats for. I got the 5 hats, but my friend will not see them, because i dont think they will be back on till after the new year >.<

What happens when a persons inventory is full?
equipped items are already counted at the inventory slots .... so i would say nothing ;)
