and I think I need a shield, cuz I tank a lot for my summon, and a 2handed wep would prolly not help me tank :/

No, you don't evave enough to warrant it. Additionally a shield helps a ton if you PVP a lot. If you don't want a shield definatly go wiht something that takes 2 hands, i'd recommend a 2h sword if that's the route you go though.
I'd recommend either BW light or doom. Doom is my preference but really it's equivalent though each is suited to different play styles. Get a DD weapon, your cast speed doesn't matter that much.

I dont pvp, this is for PvE only.
so a 2-handed wep would be a better choice? I need to be able to tank in catas, and a sheild and samurai longssword served me well so faar. maybe a 2handed would be better :/ I dont know.
shield won't help that much except against archers. I prefer a sword and shield but i used duals till 62 so they are just fine. I would say 2 hander over duals though.
just got me a OE aoba. ill try it out. I dont realy like the looks of great sword...and all the new 2h blunt/swords are insane expensive, and not OE.
yea I dont realy like duals on a low accuracy class...wasting lots and lots of shots. I think a blunt would be nice for high acc.

At this point of the game, Crits are still better than anything else around. Either use a Focus dual or a focus sword of some sort. Use light armor as well.
Yah but as a summoner with 24 dex, your crit rate is awful no matter what you do.
I personally use the AOBA+Health just to have a bigger HP pool. A kris w/ focus would do, too, or a Tsurugi*SLS +4. Once I get S grade I'll get the duals just for the SA and for it being cheaper than a level 13 crystal. For now I bankrupted myself on subclassing.
Consider sls*nm with SA health if your going to tank or alternate tanking with your summon. The extra health will make up for not having a shield and it will fire off your cubic faster. BW light for your armor.
if you're going the DD route i recommend doom actually. It has a noticible effect on your combat abilities and with you tanking more you won't need the cast speed of BW.
heh, tanking for your summon, that is going to get harder. even with shot usage, my summon is taking the aggro about the third hit, sometimes the second.
I using a dama/focus, doom light and shield, and I'm reasonably happy. doom light mostly because I was tired of the humans slow run speed. dama/focus is helping a lot. even though I have about 1/2 my summons pattk, I hit faster and crit more. it usually ends up to me doing about 40% of the damage now.
I recommend you grab a +4 wit -5 men tat from the magic shop. yes, -5 men. you'll spend about 450k for this tat vs 2.5kk or more for a +4 -4, and you'll lose only about 15 extra mp and negligible regen (total mp loss is about 70). in return, you'll cast speed (if you are a warlock) will go from 334 unbuffed to 408 unbuffed, or 400 ish buffed to 500 ish buffed with magic haste pots, which can save your life in tight spots.
An AW with 38 Dex has 175 Critical with a Tsu X SLS and Focus 3
A Warlock with 21 Dex has 157 critical with the same weapon and same buffs.
The stat difference will generate roughly a 1.8% difference in the chance to critical. Acc is a whole different story, but using Dex as a major factor in the chance to critical flawed.
my ES uses BW light and either a kris w/focus or a GS w/focus depending on my mood, the dagger makes my aqua cubic happy! and GL tanking for your summon, it does get difficult, especially if you spam pet shots
Because now we have debuffs. Actually if you want to do any tanking i recommend using wind shackle heavily. On the other hand i have -5 int and it really doesn't affect me that much.

I actually prefer duals. I find that hitting more often seems to get my cubics to fire more often. As I level'd up I found that I was tanking less and less for Kai, as his hit power went up. He pulls aggro much more than I do, so I hit the mobs hoping that the Binding cubic will land. It lands fairly often and that cuts way down on damage.
When I wasn't using duals I used a Dama with focus and a shield and was wearing BW LA. That combo seemed to work well too.
well I stick with my BW light and aoba for some time. I know I still can tank for my summon for a while longer. maybe when I hit Agrade I will change for duals or somehting. I just dont like the tougth of tanking in lightarmor and duals >.<
