Holy Resistance??

I am wondering if this skill is ever needed. I can think of maybe some angels that use a Holy attack, but are there any holy attacks in PVP?

SE can buff Holy Resistance, if you got Holy weapon, you will deal 30% less damage.

Light Vortex in pvp but yeah its not used alot in pvp.

If you ever got HR2...then you will see the difference against any angel tribe in ToI, VoS, WOA etc...

tons of holy attacking mobs at 70+ but all in party spots so i never bothered to get it
best use for the skill is to find a archer duoed with a prophet in fod and go gank them

hmm could swear holy weapon worked on all melee attacks but not magic (it was bugged and did at one stage)
never played a archer so i could be wrong but my point still stands for melee ganks

Actually, he's not wrong. If you read the description on HW, it says that it doesn't work on ranged. (Much like VR doesn't work on ranged.) Taking that into account, it would make sense that IN PVP, holy resistance would make no difference to an archer's attack, since holy weapon doesn't affect that anyways. (Any "Holy" Mobs that use bows would be affected.)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that the divine mobs in the catas/necros deal less damage if you're buffed with holy resistance. I usually buff both in there, holy and unholy.

nope ya dont... none of the resist buffs decreases your resistance to other types of attacks. Surrenders have that effect (surrender to water increases resistance to fire on the target etc), but not resist buffs.
