I have 2 accounts with about 10 toons between them at all levels (active toons in sig). I am considering taking my lvl 57 proph and creating a clan to house all my toons for the warehouse mainly, but to also get titles/emblem. He has plenty of extra SP for a level 3.
Will this work? I know I can invite all toons on account 2 but can I give someone on account 2 the right to invite all the account 1 toons? What is downside of doing this?
As clan leader your prophet can set the privelages of all the other members so yes you can make them be able to invite and manage privelages. So if you have 2 accounts you can get every character in with little trouble.
Getting to level 3 only requires SP and the Blood Mark (which is extremely easy to get). There is no clan quest until level 4.
I did the same thing with my alts. It makes it really easy to keep track of items. All my characters put their drops into the clan WH, and the clan leader puts all the full items in his personal WH. So when I need to equip a new character or craft something (the clan leader is a WS), all the stuff I ever need I can get from one character.

now i want lvl 5 and am enjoying being a leader

That's exactly why I want to do it. I don't see myself getting toons to 7x but I enjoy the heck out getting toons to 4x or 5x and trying different classes out. I figured a clan wh would make re-rolling that much more efficient.
The only thing I wish they would change to make this setup more useful is the ability to give other players the privilege to remove items from the warehouse. It seems to me this could easily be added as a privilege that can be set for each member by the clan leader.
Now, it's a win win situation. Heck, if you decide you want to play the CL as a main and put him into a different clan, you can even transfer leadership away from him.
