GPU Animation

It's an option under video options. What does it do?

Make your gcard warmer ^^, other then that, I duno :)

LOL warmer and with few graphic and animation glitches from time to time ;)
I heard it should use GFX card functions for something, instead of being computed by CPU. Also only DX9 card and higher get it.

So is it a bad thing? I have a Radeon x1950 Pro, which is a pretty good card, especially for older titles like Lineage II.

I typically run the game with every setting maxed, including HDR Rendering C, but for awhile, I was having a problem where my monitor would stop displaying a picture. I could still hear the game running, but there was no way to get the picture back without resetting my computer. I've since kept HDR rendering off, and the problem has stopped happening, but I wonder if turning off GPU animation might fix the problem too. Maybe I could keep HDR on that way.

L]['s HRD is so ugly though. I wish we could trade it for bloom. You know... something simple and sweet. Not that over saturated laggy mess we have now.

I wish L2 would stop screwing around with the gamma settings to compensate for the bland colors used in thier textures.

At the same time, I don't want it to become too colorful and cartoony like a certain other MMO I know.
