I just got pwn'd by a Poison Spider, was 12% inside of L13 and have been doing alright kiting them and curing the poisons they cast on me... till the uber-spider that insisted on thrice poisoning me and casting some kind of windwalk on itself so that it actually ran ON TOP of me (hmm) as I was *cough* kiting it (hmm). So, I die and BLAM, I see my exp bar is at 3% now: a whopping 9% loss. What gives? AT least we don't lose SPs (yet >.>; ).
No, this is not a glitch. The XP loss is something like before the first the first class change you lose 9% at death. After first class change you lose something like 5%. After the second class change you lose 4% on death. At 76+ it decreases slightly.

Correct me if I made any mistakes.
At 76+ Currently it's still 4%, in Interlude it seems to be 2% thought.
Oh yeah, my bad. I got confused with the Interlude patch notes and actual game play.
i swear when i started playing xp loss was like 20% at really low lvls
anyway after lvl 40 its currently 4% all the way to lvl 80
Hmm... I coulda swore'd I was getting naught but 3% losses all this time ( 'all' being an entire 3-ish weeks of playing L2 :p ). Then again, this is also the first time I've been remotely sober as well... hmm, think I'll run out for some more vodka before getting back on my SE to be. Cheers all ^^
You know sommat, PleChan? If I saw a dancing kittygirl behind me like is in your icon, I would be a very happy chappy :p That or I'd have to wonder just who put what in my vodka...
Isn't that from anime where schoolgirls turn into kitties and perform some magic attacks ("Strawberry bell!") and fight eeeeeevil that lurks this planet? Jesus cannot remember name, I like that anime pretty much, I watch it when I encounter it on cable TV anime channel.

I remmebr my highest loss was like 13% when I died to spider, being level 11 or so. When I die on my academy students today, it is usually 8%.
It looks like Nurse Witch Komugi, but it might be from Soul Taker. Then again...they're pretty much the same.
