Introduction: I was seeding with "Sea Codrans" lvl 57 seeds at the "silent valley" i failed to seed the mobs around 1/3 mobs, and the most just droped 1 when i harvested em,

Sea Codrans? Aren't those L50 seeds? (Should be L45-55)
And Silent Valley is like L70+ mobs....of course they will fail a lot more often when used on mobs that are 20+ levels above the seed level. Not only that....aren't those all 1/2 HP mobs? The HP modifier of mobs is a good indicator of success rates. 1/2 HP = 1/2 success rate.
Seeds work best if you sow white/green mobs with multi HP, and on mobs within the seed range. (Which means your level can be higher than the seeds as long as the mobs are green.) They can work a bit higher, but this is the 'sweet spot'. (Some seeds *cough* Lute Coda *cough* work better above the given levels...)
I'd suggest NOT doing 1/2 Hp or Group mobs even if you are a Warlord. The mobs around Disciples/Devasted castle (That drop pots) would be good for your level I believe. Also, either AOE or seed...don't try to do both at once. The mobs for one really don't match your needs for the other. (Much less the grind tactics you need to use.)
The lv of the seed is not that bad if it's higher then the mob, who matters the most thought is, MAKE SURE the mob is within 5 lv,s green to yellow, but NOT pink or dark blue then it fail no mater what.
It's fine to seed seeds 20 lv's above there lv, you will fail more but also get more, but remember the mobs need to be within 5 lvs or else don't bother.
at lvl 60/61 I was in CoW seeding the most off of AFK bot groups.
it's pretty much legal to do so. so long as your not helping the bots an any way. some people do help kill the mobs, but they are mostly doing it to gain a lil xp while they seed the bots.
it's a really good way to make some cash or much needed mats if you can manage to turn them in.
I dont see any benefit seeding 1/2 HP mobs. seeding 10+ lvls abow the actual lvl range works fairly well for me. not only do I get more then twice the normal amout (6-10 on 4x HP mobs, instead of 3-4) but I still succed maybe 75% of the seeds.
