what time is the "prime time"?

so i noticed one day that the port prices were very low all of a sudden, and somebody said in game that they are always lowered during "prime times". anyone know exactly what time is considered "prime time" ?

On weekdays, the gatekeeper’s teleport fee is discounted at 50% from 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM CST (8:00 PM GMT+1 to 12:00 AM GMT+1 on the Teon and Franz servers).

so thats 7pm - 11pm GMT, hate time zones :p

Not exactly sure how Mistryl is making the calculation, but CST is GMT -6, not GMT +1.

For the mainland USA, EST = GMT -5, CST = GMT -6, MST = GMT -7 and PST = GMT -8

The GMT +1 was for the Franz and Teon servers(European time, so that makes sense).

The other times were in Central Standard Time.

Duh. My bad, I didn't notice those times were for the EUR servers.

On NA servers it's 2 hours after olympics start (I think). That might give you a better handle on the timing.

i never look at olympics time. guess, I should start.

If I'm reading it correctly, prime time is 20:00 - 00:00 CST for everything except Franz and Teon. So the actual time period depends on the time zone where you happen to live. For instance, I am in Eastern, so my prime time hours would be 21:00 - 01:00, since EST is GMT -5.

And all others, please feel free to correct me if I have it wrong yet again.
