Alas, as much as I would love to join the party just for the fun of doing something different with new ppl in game....... I too won't be home to log into game. I'll be out of town for the Christmas weekend, but will be back for the 1st if you happen to reschedule. Please keep us updated on how this goes.

The New Year's Bash will be the first Saturday of January, and I'm actually going to run it a bit earlier in the day. Still working out details, though.

I was lurking the area before the ball, and I could see folks a plenty just showing up, and wondering. One hour before the ball I ran into town and shouted : You nerds ! The ball is in 1 hour ! *giggles* made most of them leave instantly.
Perfect location, it was eye catching, and simple to set up. Also in a safe zone so we could not get ganked. Although I would not have minded going outside to stab an elf or two.
We had a bit of excitement when some grinch started stealing all our presents... (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v436/darkmotion/theifatball.jpg) He was quickly dispatched only by a few words. It was interesting to see them, I will have to learn more about their techniques.
Of course, I got into an argument with a male. (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v436/darkmotion/argument.jpg) He had been following me around, and had been looking at my *** for like, 5 minutes. In the end he played the Marraccas and we were all happy (he said I had no ***, and that made me feel kind of sad).
ROFL it was too much punch and eats so was nap time (you know how us old farts are) but was awake in time to catch the fireworks display over the Christmass trees and presents. It was nice to see all the people in festive mood (cept for that Grinch) and some dressed in their finery so a good time was had by all and a ty to our hosts. Merry Christmass to all and may we have peace on earth and Elmore.

With more advanced notice, I may yet be able to attend a future event. Since time to recieve the message is half the time to arrive at lightspeed. And living in the shadows as I do, one must have double the time to get into the dark of it.
