Dwarven weapon setup. help ! 61+

Im getting real close to the hard question for a dorf. at 61 what a grade setup should i go with on the weapon part.
Atm i use a combo of pole and dual with focus depending on my mood and where i go hunt. but im not sure what is the best a grade weapon in general. Should i do what a dorf is surpose to and grade a Blunt ,like a MS w/focus or Does a dagger have a better dmg output.

This is only for pve im asking for advice about. Simply to know what weapon has the highest DPS for a dorf at 61+
Lots of statistics about this, I'd say crit duals or Bloody Orchid/Focus.

Blunts are gimp.
depending on how much adena you have, (i.e. not alot) try an OE damascus with focus. If you have a buffbot and tons of money, go with Orvieta said.

On Sieghardt a +5Dama/Focus costs you about 135M...a dagger or those crit duals would cost you less.
Depends of the server again I guess.
A focused meteor shower is an option if you don't usually have high levels of focus, kitty buffs, song of hunter or any of them, for that matter.

If you are usually buffed, especially with songs or dances, daggers pull ahead rapidly.

Sorry, i should have said to craft a damascus.
I play on teon and i have 62 SE as buffer. So the best i could get is dual dama w/focus or a BO w/focus sins its cheaper to get.
Nah, they're talking about single damas - duals damas don't have focus.
My Bf used a dagger with focus on his dwarf. Hes a BH and one big advantage of the dagger is that your spoils are alot faster. He used to have OE tus*sls (focus) before. Im pretty sure he does more damage with the dagger than the duals with focus.

Anyways, deffinatly if you have a buffer and you want a weapon to level with, something with focus. But stay away from blunts.
Actually at 61 a good weapon is an Meteor shower with focus, enchant it a bit and it's way better then most B grade duals.
I just hit 63 on my bh sub, and currently use a choice of 3 wpns, lance with crit stun, dual tsu/tsu and destroyer hammer with haste.

The duals hit harder, but the hammer hits faster, overall the hammer kills faster, at higher cost. i was hoping to go ice storm hammer with focus, tried karik horn with focus at c grade, critted a lot, did plenty damage., So thought ice storm would be similar. so far have seen one hammer on kain, and that was +8 at stupid price, so i went for a grade instead.

Gotta say though, duals i missed a lot, hammer i dont. Not tried a dagger yet, as i seemed to miss a lot at 45 on other dorf with a dagger, didnt seem worth it.

I think hammer or pole is the way to go as a dorf, pole for xp, hammer for spoils.

I agree with this. My 61 BH was duoing with my BF's 65 WS, he was using +9 b grade crit duals & I was using +1 MS/focus, my damage > his.
I've only ever used the blunt and pole. I use tats -con +str/dex and go for either health or crit stun. In PvP, the stun is your only chance. and its fun to use on bot healers. I have 2-box se, and if im down to that last mob that wasnt in the aoe, the vr while the mob is stunned helps a lot.

IMO, the fastest way to kill mobs is to kill them 4-12 at a time.

Spoil all the time. you can shift click on mob, if its already dead. but if you pole the same mobs a lot, you will figure out which ones die fastest.
As Shrimps said, I use an OE Kris with focus... the only reason it's better then any blunt or any other type of weapon is cause i party with a SWS, a BD, a prophet and a SE ... my critical rate is in the 320's+... that means i crit 1/3 hits ... with a meteor shower, even with focus, i'd reach a max of 1/6 hits maybe and i wouldn't attack near as fast as i do now with the dagger ...
Now, without that party setup, a Meteor Shower with focus probably is your best dd weapon for a dwarf ...
Without a party setup an Plane Elysian axe out damage Meteor shower, with buffs Meteor showers out damage Elysian.

With or without focus?
Well, I have an A Grade Warsmith, and here is what I currently have for gear:

Tallum Heavy, Doom Light
+4 Lance/CS, +9 TSU*SLS, Inferno Staff/Magic Silence, Inferno STaff/Magic Para, BOP, and three buff blunts as well, but those are only used when I don't have a buffer available.

My goal is as follows:
Tallum Heavy/DC Light
+4 Halberd/CS, +4 Meteor Shower/Focus, Carnage/Crit Bleed, Inf Staff/Silence, Inf Staff/Para

I found that a +1 Meteor Shower with Focus outdamages the +9 TSU*SLS by about 10%. I believe it has to do with the Blunt Masteries I have, in addition to fewer misses, as I tend to hunt pink and red mobs more than anything. This very well may be backwards for hunting green and blue mobs, but I haven't had the chance to test it. The bow is strictly for ranged melee groups and PvP, and is not required if you don't do either. The two Inferno Staves are also used solely in PvP: the Silence SA vs. Nukers/DE's, the Para SA vs. everything else. The SA's do land when using stun, and as I have two stun attacks, I can usually land it about once every 2 minutes or so. (Silencing a nuker is very fun btw)

Also, I am a firm believer that Meteor Shower/Focus is far superior to Elysian/Health for all dwarves prior to about level 75 or so, and that Elysian rules the day in end-game PvP. If you are going strictly PvE, then a good blunt and a good polearm are a must for almost all situations, and both will outdamage any other weapon of equal value, and sometimes more than weapons of far greater value. This only applies to dwarves tho, not other classes, as all other classes benefit from a sword more than a blunt.
I find this thread very interesting. I have a WarSmith that just turned 61 and was also wondering what weapon i would choose when i can afford it. I will keep watching this thread.

Even with Focus, the DPS increase is not that massive at once.

http://lineage2.mugimugi.org/Stats3.png

There is some DPS charts between buffs, 3x = DW 4x = DW + Fire. The numberrs at top you cna ignore more or less but the stuff at the bottom show the damage output Elysian Axe +0 = 100% damage btw, ( at 2x as you can crit :P ) 1x = the damage if you would never crit.

The meteor shower have focus ^^ forgot to add that to the list.

Anyhow guys remember, all Focus related weapons will be massively nerfed coming expansion, so this shart with all focus weapons damage will be dropped. We don't know how much yet, non have reported the real numbers but well see.
i can tell you fully buffed a ms/focus outdamages a hero weapon
unbuffed id say past 61 an aoba with haste might actually get you the highest dps
destroyer hammer with haste does a lot of damage, including crits of 1.5k+ on cata mobs at 60+
Destroyer hammer/haste is not as good as meteor shower/focus for DPS. I have tested both, and my DPS with the Meteor Shower far outweighs the bonus to attack speed of the 2H Hammer.

when buffed yeah you cant beat focus
unbuffed as a 60+ dorf id put my adena on haste though
I dunno nameless. I usually run around unbuffefd, or just using gsap and ww2 pots. The slight increase in patk of the 2h wep doesn't really compensate for the natural attack speed of the meteor shower, plus I have nearly 100 more crit rate. (128 vs 42) andwell over 100 more attack speed with the met shower. Might be more personal choice unbuffed tho.
well 2 handed weapons have lower attack speed but higher pattack
technically a 1 haded haste weapon should work about 90% as well as a 1 hander
you might be right though crits are so important in this game that even unbuffed a meteor will out damage any weapon you could get

just so you know i still use a meteor as my ma
