I havent played since C2, so a long time ago, wasted my life with wow >.<
anyways id like to come back and be a casual gamer, so a few questions.
1.) whats looking like a good class that can pve solo with out much trouble? and if there is a few choices wich fares better in pvp.
2.) I check the l2 server ping status and was wondering if those are pings from my computer, or the website they are on. Looking for a server that suites me being in MST (UTC-7)
- Just want to find a ping that works best for me, and it shows teh euro server with a 10 ping lol. I use to play kain but i dont live on teh west coast any more.
3.) is dual boxing aloud? or any alowable programs to run a buff bot? ( please dont flame me on this topic, just curious on what alowed and whats not alowed.
1) mostly, any nuker can solo (or duo) very effectively and still remain awesome at PvP
2) if you have a ping as low as 10, then it shouldnt really matter which server you choose. mine ranges from 39 to 100 something and i can play on any server with little to no lag
3) dual boxing is aloud. but any third party program is NOT so yeah....
Neither Sorc nor SpS solo well, although they're absolutely exceptional duo characters. The only classes that can truly 'solo' well are summoners, and probably SHs and Necros to some degree. The SH and Necro are also powerful in PvP, the summoners are highly situational.
So none of the archer class's or daggers solo as well as they use to? i had a high level shaman and he did ok for leveling. How are warlords these days? they were so weak back when i played.
As far as soloing is concerned, it is a questoin of what you see as soloing - if you count 'soloing' as soloing with a buffbox, archers and daggers can do fine.
all classes but Summoners can't level without help. thanks to the pet ss/sps (c4) & now the herbs (c5). problem with summoners is that like most classes it can get boring soloing but if you get a custom with not being like everyone else in the race to level faster and just hang around from time to time in parties if you want some company then that could be your class.

These classes solo as well as they ever have. However, when you ask a question like this, most tend to respond with some appreciation of how these classes "solo" fully buffed, which is to say remarkably well.
As mentioned in various other posts, if you hunt in an area where the mobs drop herbs and pots, the definition of "solo" changes. More than likely you'll be buffed with some pot or herb, making for a better solo experience than in the past Chronicles.
I have a buffbot, but I found that when hunting with my AW I rarely used the SE buffs after the first round. It actually became an annoyance to stop hunting just to go and get buffs that already drop from the mobs.
an unmentioned site tells me that full drops are the highest they have been in 3 chronicles
but if you can pull more adena in per day from full drops than you can from manoring i suggest you get a job as a profesional russian roulette player
I get more full drops in C5 then I ever had from C1 to C4. Nameless can confirm, he even made a suggestion to lower the rate...still a hilarious topic.

ppl say im lucky but when you get 50% at my lvl its pretty much guaranteed something will drop
and if you think that drop list is scary you'd be terrified when i tell you i'd be richer if i manored and didnt get any of those drops
