Who hates the Necros?
Why they are Nukers and Summoners at the same time?
Why Death Spike is so quick and powerful?
Why they can use Transfer Pain?

Who hates Necro's?

I don't

Why they are nukers and summoners at the same time?

Cause they resurrect the dead using dark magic, and can use darkmagic, seems only logical to me

Why Death spike is so quick and powerful?

Why are people always complaining when a skill is worth using?

Why they can use Transfer Pain?

Because they are dark magicians and transferring pain is rather dark to me.
Because Lineage 2 is a PvE game.

In PvE, they're 'balanced' by having a consumable that costs as much as a soulshot to xp with. In PVP they're 'balanced' because a summon needs an NPC corpse to be brought into existence, and 'resist dark' is now a buf.

I didn't say it was a good balance...
It was balanced when Hardins Academy didnt have CB for sale.
Get unholy resist and the necro's won't bother you nearly as much as the godforsaken archers.

Nah. Before you could buy them, they dropped in abundance in undead areas. Now, I xp for 3 hours in AB, I get 6 as drops. That's not balance, that's ridiculous.

Because Lineage 2 is a PvE game.

I lol'd
I laugh at Necros when I have divine protection and unholy resist, which i almost never leave town without... unless they para me :(
They need corpse to create summon. They have no skills to buff their summons, unlike real summoners - their summon is really only additional DD without anything or transfer pain tool. They use only dark magic nukes, so have to be picky where to hunt. Using death spike is expensive. Unless they CDL, their mana consumption is insane due to vamp claw mana cost (I know it, I recharge them...). Dark resist buffs can nullify their damage to absurd numbers.
Only hefty things are Forget, Anchor, and Gloom. Other than that, they are not that FOTM as archers are.

I don't. In fact, I already have my wizard ready to be a necro, all he needs to do is get to 40.

Why Death Spike is so quick and powerful?

Because Vamp Claw takes a longer time to cast and costs a lot of Mana, they thought that Death Spike would be a balance to it.
I've said this before and I'll say it again:
Someone overpowered? Reroll to one.

Actually the Necro does get transfer pain. Thought you should know.

I think I wrote that...

You made it sound like they didn't.

/agree

I'm still trying to break the logic, but then I'm tired so my brain may be crossfiring. I've re-read the sentence a couple times now and it still looks like it's saying they don't have it.

However, the poster has proven that they do know that the Necro gets the skill and that's all that really matters, isn't it?

Who votes for adding summons and TP for SpellHowlers?

SH have summons, just not summons worth using.

As for Necros, if it's one thing we can all count on, it's that sooner or later the nerf stick whacks everyone. Just give it time...
