Treasure Hunter Newbie Guide needed.

Allright, it's been so much talk about daggers in c4/c5, I kinda got bored. I'm particularly looking for an answer from an experienced Treasure Hunter (not AW or PW): rebalancing basic stats with dyes can be an advantage in PvE and PvP?

Iuno about PvP (most go -STR/+CON or somesuch), but in PvE going +STR and +DEX is a tremendous help.

pure PvP: +5(or4)dex/+4(or5)con/-9str
pure PvE: +5str/+4dex/-9con
PvP/PvE: +5dex/-5con, or +5dex/-5str(pve gimp), or no tatoos.
