I just bought Lineage 2 and I am looking for a good server to start my first character. Couple of questions:
1. I read that this is the newest European server (I am from Europe) so I thought this might be a good server, is it?
2. I am planning on going for a dark elf shadow summon thing (don’t know the exact name) because I like the idea of summoning creatures, are there allot of those on this server?
I am sure more questions will come up and ill post them in the near future.
I'm level 10 atm, and its kinda boring playing alone, its also hard to find a party because almost all the players in the starting area are dwarfs and keep moving the same way (think they are bots), so is any clan looking for some low lvl players (Preferebly a Dutch clan :) )?

Franz is the newest L2 server and yes, it is a European based server so you will have a much better ping rate on Franz compared to the US based servers.
The class you aspire to be is a Phantom Summoner. It is not a popular class but if you are new to L2 try whatever class seems fun for you and you can determine what you like.
CP points are used in pvp. When you attack another player your damage will remove life from your opponents CP, then their HP.
L2 seems simple enough but there is a lot of complexities to it. I would suggest you check your inventory for a guide book which will answer many of your initial questions. As far as a clan, ideally you want to join a group of players who are online around the same time you play and take a similar approach to the game. If you become an L2 hobbyist playing 4+ hours/day then you probably want to join a group of similarly minded players.
