Great Sword vs Dragon Slayer?

I was looking through some old posts for Destroyers yesterday and saw something that surprised me. One player stated that a Great Sword with Focus did more DPS than a Dragon Slayer, and thus advised another player to not bother getting the A grade Dragon Slayer. Can anybody else provide any feedback on this?

Get the low A 2hander, it has focus too and thus more dps than a GS. Focus really affects the DPS much, but the Dragon Slayer with Health is still a viable option, if you pvp that is. If you solely pve, then a focus twohander is a better choice since you wont be needing the hp boost as you do in pvp.

The best option is to have multiple weapons, either a high OE GS with Focus or the low A with Focus coupled with a DS Health, a blunt with health and a polearm with health all for pvp. All the weapons you use in pvp need to have Health unless you're going to use them only after the health boost has been already lost.

I should mention, I mostly PVE. What is the low grade A 2 hander? I looked in the weapon list on this site and don't see it.
I do plan on getting a polearm after I get the sword of choice. I might ultimately get a bow for PvP on open fields, since a Destroyer can't catch other toons. But that is secondary to getting my two grinding weapons.

Destroyer can catch other toons, it just requires team play. Tanks have arrest for a reason ;)

Not to mention Zealot that helps too, a bit tricky but still usable.

Infernal Master

Thanks for this good advice. So I will set my sights on an Infernal Master. I hope this is a quest reward from Kail's Coins. Outisde of the quest, does anybody know what mobs drop recs and blades for an Infernal Master?

We had some from Disciples in WoA some time ago. In my opinion its easier to buy it outright, an IM hardly goes over 40M on Sieghardt anyway.
