I solo'd my Dwarf to 61 mostly without buffs. I was wondering if anybody has used the Golem at higher levels and if it makes leveling any better. I hear the shots for it are expensive. I did level 58 - 61 with a +4 Lance with Longblow SA. I sold that and am thinking of buying a Tallum Glaive when i can afford it.
What are your thoughts ? :cool:
I think longblow blows..... Crit stun saves more dwarfy lives. JK. and yes, get a tallum glaive. If you are doing AOE, I would think a golem would slow the xp down, unless you are using big boom on 1/2 hp mobs. I would suggest getting a buffalo if you level in the cats or toi or giants cave. you need to get access to VR.
a golem spamming WS has one of the fastest kill speeds of any melee class at high lvls
you dont gain xp that fast thx to the 15% xp penalty and it aint cheap but there are actually classes out there that would love to kill as fast as me
if you can get pole groups i say do so
xp might not be great all the time but it will be consistent and cheap
