Me & my clan mates are looking for a new area to grind in with 10k + experience from the mobs. We have been using EV up till now but are fed up of being stuck in the same area. We have gone on a few treks to try different places out but have not found any with the same exp rate as Ev for our levels. Has anyone got any suggetions. The party is usually made up of a lvl 53 blade dancer, 52 duelist and me with either my lvl 45 Spellhowler or my Palaus Knight that im trying to level (lvl 35 atm) i know this isnt the ideal party ie no buffers but we have managed ok so far. All advice welcome. Happy new year to all in L2 espeically teon server. :)
The Cats and EV are the best places for XP from 50 - 60, as far as I know. Have you tried the upper levels?
FYI, I got to the point where I was tired of EV in the 50s also. I just alternated between EV, CoA, and Patriots. I did try a few other places, like the Cemetary, but none of them gave me good leveling to compare with EV and the cats.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you wont find any lvl 53 mobs that are 10K xp. The closest thing you may get is the Ol Mayhum Transcenders in Bandit Stronghold area. You could try the Frozen Lab, the Iron golems are about 4.5K each and there are 4 of them at 1/2 hp. Good XP for the effort.

at 57-58 in duo I was getting 12k+ on mobs in CoA. so I know your wrong. in trio to quad parties I'd get about 5-6.5K XP per mob. add a 5th person and it drops to about 3-4K XP.
I prefer to lvl trio or 5 man, but no more then 5 people at any given time.
I was getting around 15k in devotion as a duo at 57 with my CL's 61 PW. (we had a bud give us out side PP buffs, and our own SE btw, in party)
I'm a BD btw.
Frozen lake was a awesome lvling place, but they made a change the mob spawn rate a few months back, and I'm not sure how good it is now, but it newst to be really good.
Thanks guys thats is all really helpful, Especially D3dly's advice. We will be giving all those places a go so will update on how we do. Btw our clan is also looking for recruits at the momment. Look out for clan Fallen on Teon server, pm one of us if intrested in joining a small but friendly active clan.
Also you can try giants cave, rooms with bears and spiders are prety good for small groups, can make even a in a duo with crowdcontrol. And the best part is quest for A body armor recipes.
Thanks for that Ledaa, regarding giants cave. We went there as a 4 man party. BD, Duelist, Dark Avenger & my Pallus Knight. Average xp for this party is pretty low about 4k but lots of close packed mobs with easy kills.
This may be a better 2 man area as noted by Ledaa though the aggro may be a problem depending on your level

apostate, giants cave, toi level 1, cemetary, the lair and the area outside the lair. some of these might be a little tough, but those are the sorts of places i played after ev. be careful of the beast lord in giants cave.
The Ice Castle is still pretty good. We go there with a 55 SwS, 58 BH and 49 BH (out-of-party PP and SE) and get good, fast xp. The first rooms of DVC are good too, but the MP-draining mobs suck.
