ok so i broke my DA,s dama+3 focus yesterday was absolutly gutted there no way i can afford a replacement atm so i decided i gonna lvl up my dorf so he can earn me money and craft me stuff
he currently lvl34 using a pike +2(which seems useless)
im thinking of getting him in HC i have a full time SE lvl52 for buffs/heal etc
i have no idea on what pole/weapon to use,,between all my alts i can buy a D grade pole and some EWD but which one????
also if i take my lvl 34 dorf in HC with just a se WILL I GET OWNED dorfs armours are mith breastplate+5 mith gaitors +4
any you polers care to tell me what weapon setup would be good for poling

Your setup is fine as long as you don't pull too many mobs actually. Also, make sure you have decent jewels on.
My suggestion would be to hunt in the middle mob rooms. Try for two rooms if possible and pull one and then the other. It will be the room with the imps and flying dark elves in it.
Best set to use would be either Brig or Oath Heavy. Best D Grade pole is a Glaive. I personally use a +8 Pike equivalent, but I got lucky.
with your setup you should be fine. the only thing that i can think of is to upgrade the pole to a glaive and possibly Brigadine armor (may not be necessary).
One thing to do as well is to buy alacrity pots from the NPC store or GSAP (Greater Swift Atk Pot (haste2)) either from the Dawn priest or other players. I'd say alacrity pots due to the fact that they are pretty cheap -- around 3k and will help out w/AoE and recovering HPs from VR so your healer does not have to waste MP on heals.
