New to Macro's and how to make them

I'm completely new to Macros and how to make them..I'm just curious if a macro can be made to switch the equipped weapon, and if so, how do I make such a macro?

there IS a way to equip weapons in macros....try dragging it into the macro text box first and if that doesnt work, i have no clue. but it can be done

Dragging doesnt work..it tries to drop the item. Can anyone tell me how to code a macro?

Drag the weapon onto the shortcut bar and then drag the shortcut into the macro window. e.g drag your +16 Draconic Bow (/dream) into shortcut 1 on Bar 3 and then drag that into the macro window and it should look something like this: /useshortcut 1 3

Just put the weapon in the shortcut bar... Solved

True, though I use this method to equip multiple items at the click of a button.
