Warehouse not working for me?

Hi! I'm a new player, and I just found myself overburdened (somewhere around 54%). So, I went to the warehouse and clicked on the option to deposit an item in personal storage. When I do this, my inventory window closes and will not reopen until I relog. Also, I do not get any further windows that would allow me to store items. The warehouse worker window just closes with my inventory. What am I doing wrong?

Also, I attempted to ship freight with no success. I get a window telling me that the freight box can be picked up anywhere. I click okay, and the window just closes with no further options available.

Please help! Thank you!

weird but i think maybe i know whats happening
hit alt-x to bring up the menu
go into options
go to game menu
hit initialize

see if that fixes it
