I see the same post about Server Transfers over and over. It seems that NCSoft of NA has said flat out "There are no plans on providing that feature at this time" basically meaning its not gonna happen anytime soon.
What I propose is a new server that you are able to transfer your toons and all items to. This gives people a new challenge and fresh start. These transfers to new server would be the best way to start MOST on an even playing ground. Opinions please. If this is an option that NCSoft is considering or would consider then I would thank you for a reply about it Mistryl.
not sure if anyone will be on equal grounds if they done this
you would still have a bunch of ebayed plvled botted tools (not talking about your alliance) transfering over
farmers prolly wouldnt bother transfering accounts and would just bot up new ones to supply the demand of a bunch of high lvls needing +ed up gear, shots to spam and cool cowboy hats

As others have said, outlook doesn't look good. Transfers have been up for debate since the 3rd month of release. If they haven't happened by now, they won't.
But in a fantasy world were it happens before the L3 mass exodus. I even seen property owning clans and alliances abandoning their servers for the chance at a robust playerbase and economy.
YES! although i don't like the evil empire catalyst, server wars would solve the transfer thing. just like castle sieges (except on different times) like every 2 weeks, all out war, like the battle tournament! except have a clean server with just talking island(and no dungons) so there is no where to run and just have at it. maybe to limit the amount of people play probly have just lvl 6 or lvl 7 clans partake, and you wouldn't be able to kill anyone on your server, and like OL buffs would be server wide instead of allywide, stuff like that.
What about a server transfer from US servers to European servers ? (it can be annoying to have to wake up at 3am to be able to trade at the manor manager :o :D)

This remembers me something : during my first 3 months of play, I didn't see any US player.. Russian, Canadian, Greek, English, French, etc... but no US :D
And about rerolling... it took me more than one year to reach lvl 61... I will cancel rather than redoing that :D

The OP asked about a new 'transfer server'--one time thingy......it's LESS unpalatable than free-for-all server transfers but I'm going to still go with 'no' on that one.
I am dead set against allowing server transfers in any way.
If they ever ARE allowed, I hope they come with all kinds of strings attached making it painful....eg: one server transfer per account....$100.00 transfer fee...signficant lvl penalty(lose 10 lvls of exp)....must be paired with equal transfer TO the server you're leaving by another player....limit on transfer of adena/gear....etc.
In C2 when they brought the first Server online for Eurp the only thing you could take with you was toon and adena.

I'm pretty sure they never allowed Transfers when Teon went live.
Though I agree with you somewhat. If you want to go to a new server just start a new character to the new server. Doesn't compare with all the work one might have put in but it isn't as hard as it was in the beginning.

Xfers were never allowed. That's precisely why Devhrin said they were to come later and why ppl did not reroll their 65+ to Teon but stayed in wrong time zones.
