Hi. I played Lineage 2 a looong time ago during Chronicle 1 for a bit and I'm going to get back into it again. I was wondering what the pros and cons of Plainswalkers and Dark Avengers were. Thanks for any future help. :D
Plainswalker is a damage dealer with some healing thrown in from its elven magic...
DA is a heavily armored tank with some damage dealing capabilities from its black magic. (pet/drains/etc)
The two don't really compare...
DA is considered one of the best overall tanks in PvP due to the pet's damage and the main class being quite durable...
The paladin is more defensive and the SK is more offensive.
The DA is a great middle ground and has both stun and pet damage in 1v1 PvP. (in mass PvP the pet dies very quickly)
While all daggers are powerful in C5, plainswalker is considered the weakest dagger because its defensive and healing skills are pretty much pointless compared to how fast the dagger classes kill.
Solo, the high drop rate of HP herbs remove all need for healing spells. In a party the healer classes take care of any HP loss and the dagger isn't supposed to get hit anyway.
Thus the Dark elven and human dagger's offensive skills are seen as better.
