OK, ive been playing for a week and the first thing i noticed was that weapons and armour a SOOOO EXPENSIVE! I tell you what, seems like a long way away to getting some decent armour.
Is it just me or doest it seem that way to the rest of you ?
Whats the best way to make money ?
You can get decent armour free by joining a clan academy, and by the time you can wear the next set, you should have enough of a handle on earning money to afford it with ease.
Try manoring or night fishing to build your first few millions, then other options become available.
make public relationships, find parties/clan to go hunting/Raid Boss, keep an eye on manor system (guarrantied way to make adenas), be pleasant to others, and above all, you need lots of time and patience to dedicate for everything you want to achieve ingame.
Talk to a manor manager in town - they have most of the info you need.
Try to find a seed that gives a reward that is worth many times its 'database price' (database price = twice of what an NPC will give you for an item) to a player. Usual suggestions are varnish (red coda, golden cobol) and animal bone (chilly cobol).
You may be a bit "young" to start using the manor system, but once you do, you'll find you can make a good profit.

just started, and noticed stuff is expensive. just wait. at first, i think quests are best. but the higher you go in level, you will have a lot of different options. different classes make money in different ways. but its good to always learn how to kill the mobs faster and cheaper. when you start getting some levels, ask people of the same class what they do.
