Heavy Vs Light ?

Just starting playing again after a long break. I have a lvl 20 Human rogue, back a while back, from memory it was better to wear heavy armour over light, the pv was better the evasion or something. anyways my question is should i sell my brig set and get something in light for him. Or wont it matter till later

I have a rogue and swopped to the Manticore light set, mainly because he no longer has any heavy armor masteries in his skills. I also have a same level buffer with me which helps. Obviously everyone plays differently so I've no doubt some people will disagree.
I find light armour in DG prettier on a Female Rogue then Heavy...so I go in Light till 40 :)
Light clan armor on my female rogue is hawt!
i thought this was going to be a thread about beer. but i guess dark or light, would have been more accurate

I have worn both Light and Heavy for my Gladiator and i have to say that PvE it almost have no diffrence it all evens out in the end.

example. Heavy
Monster hit me 10/10 times making 50 dmg a hit= 500dmg
example. Light
Monster hit me 8/10 times making 62 dmg a hit= 496dmg

Thats normal hits.. against crits and skills heavy is alot better.
Well to answer Kandelstik,

of course it gotta be heavy beer, VB or Carlton D

I disagree.

I think light clan set is best. adds +3 to evasion. and the P df isn't going to matter much if you got Vr.

If you got a nice friend around, a EE or WC that can add on top of that evasion, you got your self a nice set!

But even still.

Sell of your Normal armor, get into a clan and get a clan oath set then +3 all pieces.
Heavy armor until 40. You don't get much bonus from masteries until they mature.
