Tyrants C grade, heavy or light ?

Got into a discussion with a clan member about tyrants and C grade. Basically he said that since tyrants have lousy dodge and don't really need the speed in C grade they should use Heavy armor, my way of seeing it was that since they do get light masteries, it would otweigh the extra armor you would get from heavy.

So what do you tyrants out there think ?
+4 STR > PDef. :)

Seems like the best option for CG yes.
PL = **** expensive for just 12 levels that go by very fast :P but yeah, it is the best for pure damage.

Still the question is if the P.def argument he had is valid, or if its like i said and the masteries more than make up for it when grinding normally.
That Plated Leather is expensive for 12 lvls that go by fast isn't really a concern cause reselling value stays high...I don't see that as a valid arguement.

With more STR, more VR effect, so more HP regen, so less problem with lower P def from light armour as well.

Probably also for BGrade as well. I don't think that any of the bgrade light sets benefit a Tyrant as much as PL does.
Currently switched my sub to Tyrant ^^, feelt like trying a different play style for a bit and really enjoy it :)

All I'm gonna say is, Go for PL if you can afford it, I'm completely blowing true monsters on my sub.

And all I can say, I barely need heal, I need heal if i pull more then 3 mobs, but other then that, VR keeps me up all the time ^^.

Pic of stats ^^: (Don't complain on the tatoo :P all i could afford currently ^^)

Well alot better than what i got on my tyrant =) Was able to get Theca set by giving a clan member my Composite Armor (he bought the theca set for 1,6M) and then i switched my Katana into a knuckle duster. Hopefully by the time i reach 40 on my tyrant (9 lvls to go) i will have Fist Blades with haste SA =)
Do not forget that light armor offers much more evasion than heavy. This means that for every hit you avoid, you compensate for 3-5 hits that you would get if you wore heavy. Additionaly there are passives for light. You get Agile movement (accuracy and speed increase) that is associated with light armor. So I would strongly not advise you to use any other than light armor. Plated leather is the best armor set for c (and maybe b-grade). But if you can't afford it, I would recomend a tempered mithril set (evasion +4) as an alternative.
