What does Enhancement exactly do to a piece of armor or weapon. I am a lowbie and i am working on getting a brigade body armor and plan to enhance it to +3. But i really do not understand if that will do anything to it.
Also i plan on enhancing my weapon and i'd like to know what that does besides make it glow.
In order to make a weapon glow you have to enchant it past +3. +3 is safe after you risk popping (breaking the weapon and getting crystals from it) the weapon. Same goes with armor +3 is safe most armors Top and bottom together like Sala skin can safely be enchanted to +4.
Also, each enchant scroll adds just 1 point of defence for armor, unless its overenchant, then it adds 3 or 4 points per scroll. It translates into some more defence on your toon, but nothing major. It's more of an luxurity then a nessecity, imho. If this is your's first toon I would recomend you to rather save the money for C grade.
