Hi guys i just made a elemental summoner and got all the books for my level 40 skills but now i have run into a little problem the summon i will be mainly fighting with uses c grade crystals about 14 per 1 & 1/2 hours.
The problem i have is that i can never find c grade crystals sold in private stores and i cant even afford c grade armor for my self let alone crush it for the crystals. So my question is for other summoners how do they get there crystals at lower levels
i tried relying on armor drops off mobs and that didnt get me anywhere since the drop rate is so low. So any advice for getting crystals besides rerolling a Dwarf would be much appreciated
ya iv bin camping Giran for almost the last week hoping for a priv shop to open with c crys but none yet so i think the only option i have left is make a dwarf :(

Sounds like you are trying to use the 'Merrow' summon. (AOE attack)
I would suggest using one of the other summons (D Crystals) for awhile instead. As much as I can remember, there really aren't any AOE worthy mobs at that level. (A bit higher there are more IIRC.)
I suggest that you try and build up at least a small supply of crystals so you aren't waiting on sellers all the time. Try and make sure that you have at least one of each crystal type in inventory as well. That way you can setup a buy shop whenever you can have a shop up. It would be worth it to put an alt in Giran and simply freight the crystals and cash for them to and from the alt to the summoner, so that you don't have to run the summoner to Giran every time you need crystals. (L1 alt is fine for this!)
You may want to grind with the pvp summon for a bit as well. (Takes 90% xp, but only 1 D crys!) This way you can make a lot more adena per XP gained. Yes it will slow down leveling, but it does sound like you need the money more than XP right now.
And don't forget to try shouting for crystals in Giran! Someone may have a few extra they will get rid of now, but don't have the time to actually set up a sell shop.
Buy 2 elven swords or some other D swords that make C together, in town where the tax is lowest. Dual them at blacksmith and let your friendly warsmith crush them. Crystal goes for around 2950a this way.
dont use merrow yet, the lowest aoe area is tanor canyon but you cant visit it before 50. Actually i recomend 52 when you get UD. Personally i had many deaths 50-52 there :P

Then maybe craft some low C things that require only D crystals and few materials and crush it (moonstone earrings and such). Might be slow but could work.
actually at S.Meadow area is a nice quest with good rewards
from high mats as vop, s. coke and armor c scrolls(10 quest item bet)
to weapon c scrolls, low c jewels(crystalize them) and c weapons katana(oren) sls (hunters village)-(100 quest items bet)
also in this area i had the most drops, so i suppose that is a 'high' rate drop area or i was extremely lucky that period(52-60LvL) if i add the rewards to the above i made a otne of adena..... nice old days :(
I bet 1080 medals the other day and got 2 EWC 1 EAC and 1 crafted leather. I always bet on the same numbers, because I figure I'll win with those eventually :D
If you are soloing you really don't want to use Merrow yet anyway. Boxer's recharge is what allows us to hunt non-stop for hours. The pots that mobs drop now help but you will still run out of mp healing Merrow. If you hunt in Field of Silence the mobs there are 1/2 hp so you can mow through them without using shots.
Save up cash until you can afford the dual sword trick mentioned earlier or you get a drop. Or you can always stop grinding and play the market until you have money to buy crystals from sellers in Giran. If there are none today I'm sure there will be tomorrow.
i dont remember thr exact number of the rewards i won , i always did 100 items bet, i won so many ewc that i made 2 homonk. +7 1 fail at +5 sold many spare. Aslo during xp-ing S.meadow (52-60) i had some jewels as reward= c cryst :P
plus some drops (3 zubeis shirts, 5 bw helmet rec 100%, 2 kris rec, 1 compo helmet, 1 great pata). These were my best days :)
