Orc Mobs vs. Orc characters

Question for you RPs out there...

How do you explain the differences in the Orcs we control and the Orcs we kill? There are clear differences in intelligence, appearance, etc. And Orcs killing Orcs to level?

I am just curious, I am not an RP per se, but I am just wondering how you explain this in the world of Aden?
The playable Orcs....noble Orcs the ones that follow and have embraced the teachings of Pa’agrio....

The Orc mobs.... I define as the ones that have turned away from the word of Pa’agrio
some of the orc NPCs explain how the mob orcs "de-evolved" and became like monsters after they were defeated or something like that. noone seems to mind lol
Yes, there is an Orc NPC somewhere north of Gludin that explains about the Orcs on the mainland. As I recall, it seems like he referred to them as "low Orcs".
But is it right to kill the "low orcs" if the "high orcs" are so noble? Or are they just as savage?
Low orcs have turned from the glory of Pa'agrio, and therefor are no better than beasts to be slaughtered.

Or so goes the party line...
And are goblins low dorfs?
Orc mobs, on the whole, tend to be a little harder to kill than other mobs, and also tend to give a little better XP and adena. At least, that is the way it seems to me. So, never mind the storyline, my Orc is gonna grind on Orc mobs whenever it seems beneficial for grinding XP and/or adena.

And are goblins low dorfs?

Nope. Goblins are just another creature on the totem pole, from everything I've seen.
Goblins have nothing in common with dwarves anyway.
Two thousand years ago, the orcs ruled the world almost with the dorfs willingly under them. The Elves were almost crushed but got in the last moment help from the lowly humans. The humans demand was that the elves taught them magic, after that humans turned the tide and took over. The orcs were pushed back to the immortal plateu.

This is were orcs started to go astray and some refused to recognize Flame Lord Kakai as their king and started to be bandits and worship their different totems and chiefs in a introvert manor. They lost basic training in social and physic and became more like beasts over the centuries.

However there are a few excemptions like the tribe that's on Talking Island, it has degenerated but is still waiting for orders from Flame Lord Kakai and is him faithfull. Then there is the Ragna Orcs which is last of the 7 original and thus noble tribes. Im not sure exactly why but it seems they have a vendetta against the noblest tribe hestui (which Kakai is from) and has betrayed the orc race in that strife.
They are both ugly looking things and will all perish under my axe.
RP has little to do with L2. The designers tried to give some RP "air" to the game, but the gameplay itself has nothing to do with it.

Yuppers, it's why you see a sps 2-boxing an SE or a party often with a BD and SWS. If it was true RP then those guys would kill each other on sight or at least be free to do so without pk penalties.
I remember during my quest to become an Overlord something about having to kill Orks who had been chased away from the Ork lands. It has been many years since I had to carry out that order, but here's what I remember from that mission.

During the quest you have to either defeat them enough so they'd pledge their loyalty to the true Ork leaders, or annihilate them completely for their treachery.

In either case, any monster ork you kill was a well-deserved death and you will receive high praise from the Flame Lord Kakai as well as Pa'agrio Himself.
I completed that quest twice, and never heard a word from Pa'agrio.

In quite a few of the orc newbie quests (I've redone them all in c5) there is entire quests about going after rogue orcs. Like this one (http://lineage2.stratics.com/content/library/quests/index.php?id=107)

I read your write up......

Baranka's Messenger is always in the same spot....... And the quest isn't that hard, but you do have to run like hell :)
I consider having to run like hell, pre 20, as very hard :) I did that quest untwinked, unpowerbuffed, etc. It was hard.
Running orc... something is wrong there. ^^
Orcs move like tanks, slooowly, anything that involve lots of run with them is a pain.
I don't know. Give my Tyrant a windwalk buff along with his wolf self buff. He can leave a roster tail of dust as he hauls....
only thing slower than an orc is a necromancer.

was amazed at how "fast" i could run when i started my Shaman. lol
