So just today I was on an academy alt and someone pm'ed me he was my clanleader on an alt. As Leyanire's husband I know her char names pretty well and knowing she was at work and I was using her account to buff my alt...I can guarantee it was not her.
Problem cause of some stupid D/C lag error I was not able to make screenies of it, and the CoC can't let me place the name of the user either.
What can I do to make sure he doesn't repeat this?

First of all, you just admitted to violating the EULA. A.K.A. account sharing.
As for actually answering your question, the only real way to prevent this is to use Vent, Teamspeak or Alliance/clan chat.
LOL since when is using your wife's account a violation? It's like you can't know what your wife's credit card number is...is that a violation as well? Get a grip there ;)
Fyi I have my own account, and she has hers as well.
So you are actually saying I can't do anything about it? So someone can namescam, but I can't use my wife's account...now that is good, very good even.
Thank you Pam, for your responce. Those were exactly the thoughts I had when I read Lukas' reply.
Guess some security messures are at hand huh...In any case all you here on the boards who know me, be careful of such name abuse either on my person or even on your own clan leaders. This is the sort of name abuse I defenatly hate the most and surely can give a bad reputation on legit players.
Well Leyanire, a person's reputation goes a long way. If anyone was ever scammed by Leyanire or Orvieta I'd know for sure it was a name scam probably by Layenire and Orveita.
Ultimately, people must be careful, but clan leaders should help remnind there people about scams and consider issuing certain procedures to help avoid problems.
Thx for the support and trust, Pam. It sure warms this leader's heart to know there are people still in the game who look further then what lies on the surface ^^
lol it's generally more difficult to do "sarcasm" and "joke" in posts because of the different ways people read something.
A line of text is read one way in your mind, and completely different in someone elses. (sometimes it even has to do with how they see you as a person o.o)

This is correct, but sorry to say so that in Lukas' straight formulation there is no tone of sarcasme to be found. Believe it or not but my husband has a very good sense for sarcasme...
In any case I hope this password system will prevent any of my clanies to be abused or scammed in my name on a so called alt.
