Paladin Question

do paladins/Human Knights get a skill that allows them to heal other PC's?
other than Sacrifce?
Can devine heal be use to heal others or is it a self heal skill?

As far as I know, Divine Heal is a self heal.
Dont know about other skills a Paladin gets tho

No besides sacrifice there is no other skill (that I'm aware off) that gives Paladins the opportunity to heal others.

The Divine heal is indeed a selfheal and can't be used on others (I tried it LOL).

Just checked in skill list, it's Holy Blessing. It's just a heal, consuming MP, not very strong, but once every [...] it can be useful :)
Sacrifice is a bigger heal but consumes a lot of HP. Still good sometimes, and it casts faster than Holy Blessing.

Holy Blessing is good for use on mages, but fairly weak for high HP chars. I use Sacrifice a lot (with BSPSA) and pop a GHp cus my HP matters less than others.

The Paladin has 3 types of heal. Divine heal ( self heal )from being Human knight till 40 that uses MP, Holy Blessing (other and selfheal ) Paladin heal that uses MP starting lvl 40, Sacrifice ( other heal only ) Heal that uses HP starting at lvl 52.

Same for the healing cubic of TK that can heal anyone in the party.

Indeed ^^ But that one I actually HAVE seen in action. Quite nice actually :)

Sacrifice can be used on yourself - with a positive effect, too, at higher levels. ^_^

How strong is Sacrifice now compared to new C5 heals? I mean, there were times before Major heals when Pally/PhK was better healer than any cleric class.

Maline: is that with Prayer?

It's with shots and high MAtk, I haven't heard of the person who made this up experimenting with prayer. Mostly, the idea is to use a mage weapon to push up your MAtk so you can get a higher HP heal than what you're spending - it should be viewable on a nightshade, whic, as a servitor, naturally has higher MAtk than most fighters.

i DID look in the libary but it is unclear what is self heal and what is able to heal others.
So i thought it would be best to ask some one that plays this type of Toon.

I didn't know shots would help since this weird skill uses HP and not MP.
Anyway Maline did you see this so good self sacrifice yourself? Because the m.atk has a pretty low effect on heals. My SO heals for like 6 hp more with empower1 than without.

I've heard you need Boss jewels to be able to Sacrifice HP to yourself, perhaps you need prayer as well :>

Matk doesn't do that much to normal heals even.. think about it, BSPS is 4x matk.. what kind of enchant do you need to even come close to the effect of that!

I don't have the exact numbers (hell, I don't even know if it's xLance or Charlie that's running around with this build...), but I think having that fast a free self heal for several hundred HP would be good.

He did use an arcana mace to get his MAtk high enough to restore to self - but I don't have exact numbers, and until PTS no way to try getting any.
