Message board width on web page

Is it possible to connect to the forum and have it open further to the left ?
Its really annoying having it all pushed to the right to unnecessarily keep the menu options of the web site available. I use 17" and 19" monitors and it feels wrong on both even with large resolutions.

The only way to do what you're thinking is to disable javascript. So the menu on the left doesn't load, but that breaks more things in the web in general.
