There is no good way to CDL in VoS. The mobs are just to dangerous. You have mods that can hate you... Group mobs... All mobs are social... Teleporting mobs... Don't CDL in VoS.

I CDL'ed at VOS until 73. Good exp. HP via tats & bless the body. Cast speed via tats, robes, weapon, and buffs. Keeps you on your toes, and is a lot of fun.

I agree. I've been CDL'ing in VoS for past 8 levels, with relatively few deaths. CDL'ing in VoS is great.
Get something that would get you Cast speed as must as possible, at least Avadon robe set + Acument weapon and Magic Haste pots.
Another thing, if you can afford, go get yourself a Crystal Staff. Put Body to Mind SA on it and heal yourself till you get the Bless the Body buff. Also get a +4 Con tattoo and together you would do more damage when CDL'ing. Because of the teleporting mobs, try keeping your HP around 250hp's (you can go lower, but a bad pull = insta-death). Kill the Flash mobs 1st as they do the most damage per nuke out of all mobs there and again watch out for the Blade mobs. Don't CDL in areas that have 3 group mobs as the regular single target mobs tend to be spread further appart in those areas.
Do that and you'll be fine.
Oh one more thing, be sure to pack a bunch of those HP Elixers. Those bloody things are awesome(MP elixers on the other hand are utter crap :mad: )

its debateable what is the best tactic for cdling but i always attacked the blades first
my tactic was to kill 1 blade (they clone themselves) and then kite back away from the flash and kill it before targeting the second blade
takes abit of timeing cause the second blade can hate your target away if you arent quick enough but i found it was more reliable than dealing with the blades teleporting to you
anything goes wrong just spam vamp claw
see a clump of mobs you arent sure you can take - leave em alone and wait for them to split up or go get some hp before trying to kill them
most importantly dont ever stop nukeing, the second the mobs start to build up you are risking death
