Edit: Oh, right, I got the mats for mine from various raids. PA, Boots and Gloves, anyway. I think I got the Majestic PA mats from one of the very first raids I did with Oxblood.
I don't have the set. However I'm currently working on Tallum Heavy. But I can't get the recipes for the PA and boots, ****it! I have all of the mats...
My BF has a BH, hes was in right lvl range when the A grade helms became spoilable. I somewhat figured the spoil tables. We farmed the recs. About 1 rec every 4-8 hours of playing.
They used to be worth alot more at the beginning..
~20-30 recs * 40 mil (average) = ... well you do the math.
Was lucky and I bought everything before the gloves/boots/armors went up in price.
Oh and we crafted the tallum helms we needed cause we just had too many of those recs...
Gathered or was given the key mats for a dark crystal robe in C3, had the rest off my BH. Waited easily 3+ months and was given the rec to me from a clannie, never was able to finish the DVC quest myself. Craft succeeded at level 62. Bought gloves, boots.
Collected ALL items to make the dark crystal helm, mid C3. Still to this day, haven't been able to get the rec to try a craft. Mid c4 figured I would never, ever get A grade, sold the robe, boots and gloves. Bought maj robe, boots and gloves for dirt cheap (compared to now anyway).
Sat on that until late C4 when my clan gave me a maj circlet. I didn't get full A grade until I was 72.

as for the OP. the best way to get what you want is to play the market. By low and sell high. i.e. Watch in Giran for people spamming to sell stuff, their lack of patience means money. Offer a low price then set up a shop to re-sell it overnight.
To think, i used to give seminars on this same principal for realestate and it works in L2 too!
Grined in GC for bunch of levels when I could find a duo there, got 2 tallum PA recipes, bough another recipe extreemely cheap, bought some of the parts, got some from clan 2 crafts suceeded. Bought 2 pairs of boots, gloves, robe top and bottom all were cheap 4-7k a piece. Bought helm after selling PA (50m) and bunch of stuff and sitting in the market.
Was all set at about 63-64 or so.
i played the market for months (and months); buy low-sell high was the way to go for me, but it requires an extreme amount of in-town time, looking at shops, taking notes, paying attention to the shouts to see what people are in the market for...i think you get the gist of it.
oh, and i didn't start out with loads of free cash either. i started by making 107s with wpns bought in the giran shop, crafted and then sold in dion. i bought thousands and thousands of thons at 6k each and resold at 8k (or 10 or 12 depending on how many stores were up at the time); same with shiny fish gems. gradually worked up to overplussed weapons (homus are always a hit). oh, i also have certain quests i do regularly that provide all sorts of capital. ;)
got most of mine on drops
my sister got tallum plate on a drop and she gave it to me (until i could get the cash to pay her back)
she also got the gloves on a drop
i crafted my NM shield (my first A craft)
my 2 A grade weapons were bought from farmers at the point where i could crystalize them and still make a profit
i bought the boots
i crafted all my A grade jewles using recipes i spoiled myself (im a WS btw)
i got a dc helm on a drop and traded that to a clanner for a tallum helm (he also gave me boots)
i week after i had the full set i got tallum plate on a drop and was able to give it back to my sister ^^
most of you can prolly read that as "i ebayed my A grade"
but i am quite serious and my clan mates can verify every single one of my drops due to the huge amount of swearing and freaking out that happened in clan chat right after
BTW i was lvl 77/75 when i completed the set (5 days before i became hero) but it didnt bother me one bit, anyone who has seen me xp could easily see why i could wear BW all the way to 77
I crafted all my jewelry, and working on my wife's jewelry now too, so far not a single fail. I hunted for the Majestic Jewelry recipes in Forbidden Gateway while leveling soul crystals for clannies.
I played the market intensely and just bought all my armour and weapons I needed in AG, right now I'm starting on NM Heavy which would give me my 3rd full AG set.
Unsealing I did myself mostly, hunting for AA, setting up buy shop for AA and having good luck finding the BS pretty fast all the time.
My SE was full AG armour (not interested in AG weapon for her) at the moment she turned 60...yes so I could turn it on while making that ding **** to 61.
My HE had some Majestic at 60 but she was ready to go just before she turned 63. BH and BD will probably be done by the time they reach AG as well.
You can all think what you want, but thats how it happened with me, only AG drop I ever had was a Phoenix Necklace and that is collecting dust in my WH.
I'm still in BW, and about to hit 62, but I crafted my Maj boots for about 4.5m give or take.
but every thing else is overpriced atm, so I can't find a breast plate for less then 50m(seen these upwards of 90m+). helmets are 60+m, and gloves are like 40m++.
one thing I like is DVC quest, it's not that hard to complete as long as you got a fairly decent group, and the time to farm it.
but ToI is a joke, so is GC one, they need to rework the rates and what you get for parchments.
At 71 I'm still in BW robes. Guess I'll use them till subclass or so :)

If you would upgrade to DC for cast speed, you might as well stay in Tallum, same speed.
I'm close to have my full nm set tho. Bought the boots a long time ago, got the gloves for 1mil, took me 2 craft attempts to have the armor and now working on the helmet with toi quest (missing 11th floor right now, got 1 nm glove part with 1st set of blueprints).
As for the jewels, I did the forbidden gateway and devastated castle quests to craft maj rings and necklace. I wont talk about what I wear for earrings (failed one maj earring craft, didn't tryed again since).

I failed a maj necklace I think it was, nothing burns quite as bad as failing a 70% craft :/

Im crafting some for clannies, so far Ive probably attempted a bit more than 20 jewlery peices... success rate ~ 50%
I got mine through sheer amazing luck (and my lucky crafting buff coupled with my intricate crafting rituals).
I crafted my DC robe using the rec I got from the lair quest. Got two more recs and they both worked.. sold for a tidy profit. Then crafted a DLE, dasparion staff, two tallum blades, and a botmt, as well as a doom heavy armour (60%), and a DC BP. Sold it all, and could afford the rest of my DC + a NM robes set :) Game got back at me by failing my maj helmet craft tho, and a tallum blade :p
Failed phoenix necklace and succeeded DC light yesterday ... why it is that when I craft for myself I fail, and when I craft something I do not need I succeed? Failed SOM craft, but succeeded Soulbow ...
First off I had mine when I was at 61,80% or so. Basically I hunted the GC quest for over 2 months or so together with Arigato here at the forum, took quite a while to collect the parts we needed, got one rec, crafted and it failed :) Collected more by buying em for 35k a pice and after the like 6th quest turn in I got another tallum armor recipe ^^ and managed to craft it ^^ took about 5 lv's of GC hunting to get it :)
Boots and Gloves where 2,5m each so just bought em :), Tallum Helmet was quite cheap, 50m, had 40 back then from selling a B grade dual I had over and got the helmet as well :)
Thats basically the entire story, now I own 4 A grade armors between me and Arigato here. But that was only after they introduced spoil :)
I got my Tallum tunic as a drop in a cata, martyrs I think. Saved up my pennies to buy stockings and gloves, then borrowed money to buy the helm and boots. Still have to pay that back though >.>
Crafted all my A grade so far.
The first thing was a NM shield ( bought recipe and shield parts), After that i did a halbert ( quested recipe bought blades at 80-100k ) and a elysian ( bought recipe 1 mil Parts 400k-500k ) after that i tryed NM Armor ( bought rec and parts ) then did Tallum glaive ( bought rec 1 mil blades 100k ) and Meteor shower ( quested rec bought blades 80k ) after did NM goves and boots ( bought recs and parts ) spoiled Maj recipe and did craft circelet sold it and bought NM helmet. Got the other mats from spoil or manor. All of em worked 1st try. Then tryed Maj rings one of 3 trys did work :/
Had NM set at lvl 63 or 64. Most stuff before 61 only helmet took me long.
