Secrets to not getting DC'd

Is ther a secret to not getting DC'd when you set up a Private Store and go afk??

I have been tryin to sell things for a week, but everytime I set up a store and go afk(like I am at work now and hopefully my store is still up) I get dc'd. Just wondering if there was some sort of secret I didnt know about.

Yeah, that happens to me alot as well.

My only suggestion is to completely restart your computer, then log into game and set up shop. This might help a bit.

Never had it happen, but some routers/firewalls/isps have idle DC settings that could cause this.

Put up your shop, go in Alt-P, minimize your window...

alot of those afk dcs could prolly be blamed on memory issues or poor internet connection

Its on a stable Cable connection(and since my roommate works from home, I know the cable isnt going out. I will try minimizing my window and see if that works, well, I will try next time, since I cant go home from work right now.

Reboot the computer, check lower detail and point the camera at the sky. Looking at the sky seems to reduce the amount of texture loading needed.

Check if your computer is going into standby mode or not. Sometimes that can cause your internet connection to drop.

and never use soes :)
