New player learning the game

I'm new to lineage. I've been playing almost a week now, trying out the different races to find what I want to play. Right now I feel focused on my dark elf fighter. She's lvl 15 now, name of Ashrael. I've done all the quests that I can find in the area, and repeated a couple of the repeatables for some cash. I'm wearing the best armor that I can get in the Dark elf city, and wielding the first twohand sword. I feel I have a decent grasp on the game up to this point.

However, I picked up a quest from the warehouse guy sending me out into the world, and after going to a few of the cities trying to follow this quest I feel a little overwhelmed.

I'm lvl 15, should I head back to the DE city and continue to just make cash and grind or is it time for me to face the world?

You shouldn't worry about going out into the world until your class change, which you start at level 19 and finish at level 20.

Cause the monsters around the world at your level will kick your little DE butt. :)
