there are two solutions on this matter
1) NCSoft should let us know about their intentions on the matter and not just leave it on the air.
2)make a poll with just "YES or NO". the majority will vote and you (NCSoft) will know what ppl want.
its just that simple.
all we need is an official answer and nothing more, just to know where we re standing.

Well server transfers would be great, for 2 reasons. First it would match WOW on that point, and we all know that that game is the primary competitor to lineage 2, and second would allow people from the empty servers to go to a server with more people. anyways it would make all the lineage 2 customers more satisfied.

my answer as i see it from NCsoft Point of View is....
if we see a MAYOR move of people leaving the game then we could "offer" what they want until now the majorities is staying and the accounts of "new" players are being open i don't see why we should make a server transfer available now.
you want to give then a reason then you have to make a stand either don't activate your accounts for a period of time of just accept the fact that it is not going to happen in this game L2 is all about the numbers and the numbers are in their favor..

i think that if there are server transferes you should only be able to once a month, or have to pay a fee. it be better to just combine low population servers anyway.

The ongoing debates are nothing more than ******* contests; nobody is listening to this tiny playerbase.

IMHO, imitating a weak game like WoW is a step down, a bad idea indeed. L2 is great because it is different.
Imitating others (in games and in real life) decreases diversity and makes things the same...makes things boring. Bland.
Keeping L2 hardcore makes it fun. Heck, I wish it was more hardcore. Do away with the 20% exp boost in fields from C3. Give us drops on deaths! Heck, let us drop to PvP deaths again! I remember the OLD days when you could drop your equipped weapon from PvP deaths and when reds might outnumber white players in some areas. It took two months to get to 20 when you would be PKed so much that a long evening would result in no exp gain.
And you couldn't automate shots then, either.
