People used to run more than gatekeep, now they transport everywhere. That's too bad, 'cause when you run and have to swim a river, you need to be right behind the lady elf in the party (either light or dark). Did you know that if you adjust your screen so the water surface is seen, you get a wonderfully clear view of subsurface scenery? It is worth a look.
Speaking of water, we interviewed the NPC fisherman at Rune dock. Or we tried to, he smelled to bad, so instead we interviewed a fish.
RP: Do fish think a lot?
Fish: Deep thoughts.
RP: Do you keep busy?
Fish: Occasionally, more people do night fishing than you might think. It is catching on.
RP: Why is that?

Speaking of Rune, Rune Castle should be taken this next siege period so stock up on cheap soul ore, spirit ore, and soes now. One of Erica's more visable players recently stated that she could solo Rune Castle but the only thing holding her back was a "less than competent clan lord." Well, thats not a problem any more since she was Kicked Out Of Her Clan this weekend. Seems she grabbed Zarachie and badmouthed her clan one time too many. Oh, and all you bishops out there watch out for her. Seems she is PKing bishops now..why? She tried to subclass one and found it too hard, so now she is PKing all those who were able to do what she failed at. Can you follow the logic? I can't!
Speaking of gossip, there was two instances this last weekend of one of the most unpleasant scams around...long time clan members borrowing gear from several people and then leaving the clan/ally. Details were on hero chat, but these people need to be remembered and never trusted again. Don't party with them, don't sell to them, don't buff/heal them, until they return the items with restitution. Good, decent people were hurt.
Speaking of scams, watch out for that one dwarf craft shop in Giran who offers level 1-4 crafts for 9,000,000 each. Yeah, sleepy people who don't check the prices on this lil female mirthril yellow dwarf will go to bed unhappy. Makes you wish you knew who the main was on that account, doesn't it?
Speaking of Giran, the economy is being centralized with one massive syndicate doing most of the crafting/buying. Well, almost all of the big clans do in-house crafting now so it is the small clans and independent folks who are subject to the market economy. Less price opportunities with this syndicate running things, but ya gotta be impressed that someone could manage to corner and control the market. Clan lords could have, but they were too busy with politics.
Speaking of politics, two old time heavy weights have returned to the server since New Years. One on his old toon, one on a new one. Should spice things up.
Speaking of spicing things up, here are some Interlude things to look for:
- more jiggle than we have now
- hot, updated hair doos
- multiple different dance emotes, can you say DE Rumba, Tango, and multi-toon Swing Dancing? Its so hot you will do the quests to get the new songs.
- Dino Isle is gonna have some surprises, better go potty before you arrive 'cause you won't have time to go afk once you are there.
- Back doors into the deep areas of the Necros, Catas and AL....but they shift around and take keys to open.
- mobs that hunt YOU, they will roam looking for players
- Bounty Hunters will spoil reds with less than 5 PKs
