Earth Attacks

Can someone give a rough list of what is classed as an Earth attack. Only reason I ask is that's a possible addition to my dances and I want to know if it's worth having.

Everytime I think of earth attacks all I can see is a tree grabbing you by it's roots :D

Thanks in advance for help :)
It's not worth putting up in 99.9999999% of situations.

Some of Antharas's attacks are earth based, as are decay and overenchanted spoils. There's some unconfirmed talk as to whether or not sleep and root are earth type spells, of which I find root easier to believe.
and i think earth guard protects against fall damage
No, fall damage is Dance of Protection.. if my memory doesn't fail me!
No.

Dance of Protection protects against terrain status effects. You can get them in certain places and they will sometimes debuff you or do damage to you.

Dance of Earth Guard protects against various oddities. It is not used very often and is actually a counter to the SPS spell Surrender to Earth.

There is a really old thread about Earth-based attacks somewhere on these forums. It actually goes quite in depth as to what is considered earth-based and what is not. I believe that some status effects like bleed, poison, decay and a couple others are sconsidered Earth attacks. This dance just lowers the chance of them landing, it does not give 100% protection against them.

Both dances have very limited use in most situations. In fact, in over two years, I have never seen anyone use either of them.
This is all earth based attacks ingame:

* Antharas' Breath (monster)
* Dance of Medusa
* Decay
* Spoil (overenchanted only)
* Spoil Festival (overenchanted only)

Yep, thats it.
