What about the good stuff?

Ok a lot of the posts we have going on at the moment are not completely negative but not positive either. Not good for new players having a browse on the forum.

So lets have at least one post that focuses on the positive aspects.

List the things you like/love about this game, even if it is just that the Moon has an eye in the middle of it :p

Please try and add to this post. I know people have issues with the game at the moment but I want everyone to remember why they love playing the game too :)

There are a lot of good things about this game so I shall begin with .......

All the great (and not so great) people I have come into contact with that I would never have otherwise of met.

It's not everyday I come across Rams in full mystic getup that are trying to kill me :D

Where else can you summon a see-through pink unicorn that follows you everywhere and tries to kill anything you ask it to ;)
The crystals in the ants nest, the glowing walls in Cruma tower and matrix like teleports, the ice crystals in EV and rainbow trees, the eyes in the wall of agros, the swirly ice in Frozen lab, the lava flames in blazing swamp, the transparent glowing floor in Giants cave, etc etc

In addition to that, the angels of ToI and WoA, Heine, Hunters Village, Anghel Waterfall, the holes in Antharas Lair where the light comes through, the endless jokes about an elevator for ToI...etc...
The complete joy I felt the first time I realized I could use Curse: Fear in the Forest of the Dead to push 9-man automated farmer groups over the cliff into the river.

The thrill of overenchanting - even though I've never gotten a weapon over +6 or armor/jewelry over +5.

The excitement each time I port into Baium's Lair and the relief when I finally got the bloody knife!

The spine tingling fear that developed the first time I slowly walked into the Forge of the Gods as a lone Spellhowler with my trusty Shillien Elder at my side ... of course we quickly walked right back out ;)

The chaos that occurs during a castle siege.
The feeling of winning the lottery when I was a noob and I got my first full drop.

Completing my first class change and feeling part of the Dion community.

Raids

The spooky sound the Liele's make.

My first sale when I eventually decided to set up a shop.
They buying and selling, wheeling and dealing of the L2 market. Protecting myself from scammers, learning the pricing, watching market trends then.....

...after months of spoiling, crafting, buying, selling.....bit by bit and one item at a time....always going for bargins....

...getting the Nightmare set for my lil Bounty Hunter when she had just 4% more to get to wear it. And doing it for about 35 mil less than the 'posted' market prices.

In other words, achieving a difficut goal I set for myself.
Winning 800k adena at the race track off of a 10k bet and watching the person who bet 1 mil yell in agony when I said I had won that much.

Still finding new places to explore that I didnt know existed.

Actually playing with real people and not soloing.
My clan and I successfully taking out the Ice Fairy. Learning from our mistakes and figuring out how to get it done.

Raiding my Elf from 20-40 and becoming a summoner.

Enchanting said Elf's Staff of Life successfully from 1 to 7.

Stopping and just admiring the view.
To put it simple.....

I had a choice in my life stick with L2 or find another game. Thing is i fell in love with the Orc character in L2 and no matter where i looked. No other Orc character in any of the other games was right.

It was the L2 Orc or nothing. I love being Orc :)
The thrill of OE wep or armor.. Making a successful A wep craft.. Anything with odds that are not in your favor but it works out in the end is good in L2.

The weps and armor i think are the best looking out of any mmorpg, and the characters themselves. (DE, and elf) :)
they love you when you have a 64 bit OS
witch is very common ATM

How many times are you going to post this?
CT. it looks extremely cool
we like everything, its just that we want MORE :P
The surprises you get by playing this game. I can't forget the time I was around lvl 20 and I had a quest that in order to finish, I had to kill Serpent Of Biffons (a raid boss actually). Since everything I had done up to that point was doable solo, I thought that would be too (maybe a little more difficult). So, I tried to solo Biffrons. Surprise...
Well, this quest is marked as a single-player quest ...
I remember my first time in Gludio (Beta), it was amazing! I saw the castle in the night with the moon over it... When I entered in the town I saw a lot of people selling, buying and grouping!
Then my second impresion was when I traveled from Gludin to Talking to meet a friend, I was a frustrated Elf, because I can't return to Elf Village until lvl 20 xD
I love traveling on foot to see the great and beautiful world of Aden and Elmore.
The best part of the game are castles sieges, clan and alliance system. You meet people and with time you know that this is a great family, hehehe :)
Also I like to go fishing with friends and play the lottery and Monster Track. I want to see more mini-games...
I don't worry if my class is nerfed, because I love my char and the people who play with me.
I have faith that in the next expansion we will have a lot of things to do :)
Aside from my clanmates, one of the greatest joys I get in game is when I am able mete out justice... such as just happening to be on-scene on my main when the local perma-red rounds the corner.

That is always fun.

What I like best about L2 is the fact that the vast majority of its content is driven by the players, not the developers. This game, perhaps more than any other, is a like a sandbox... we create characters in it, and are provided just enough lore and backstory to do pretty much whatever we want.

Of course, this would all be for naught if it weren't for the people with whom I share my time in Aden. My friends, clanmates and allies are, for the most part, the reason I play this game.
