My Automatic Updater is telling me:

In Development: No Server Issues

Forum says there is a majour issue with clients...

nice, now I have to wait 2 more (real) hours to midnight :/ doesnt server clock stop when its down?

It's not a server issue; it's a problem with GameGuard and certain client operating systems/software (there, I think I covered all possibilities that way).
